Story
Meet Marbles! This handsome fella is in search of his forever home. We believe him to be around 2-3 years old and of Havanese descent. We are unsure of what has happened to this dude in his short life, but we know he’s been passed around. Marbles is what you would call a Velcro dog. He is somewhat obsessed with human interaction. He’s quite dependent and fiercely wants to be by your side. True to the Havanese breed, Marbles is loving, intelligent, outgoing, people & dog social and very into his human companions. He also possesses a beautiful coat which will need regular maintenance.
Marbles needs in a new home -
🐾 An owner who will spend a considerable amount of time with him. He is not happy when left alone, he suffers with a bit of separation anxiety. Marbles is happy to accompany you wherever you may need to go or someone who leads a homebound life is ideal. He also needs to be taught further that he’s not going to be abandoned again, and his favorite person will return. 
🐾 Marbles gets along with other dogs, but usually doesn’t buddy up with them very quickly. They just exist in his world sometimes as he dotes over his humans. He has not been tested with cats.
🐾 Marbles is a young, energetic guy, not ideal for a super senior or family on the go. He will need someone patient & willing to teach him the dog world positively. Being an intelligent breed, he will need mental and physical stimulation.
If you’re looking for a dog/companion that will think you’re the best thing since sliced bread, then Marbles may be your guy.

The process of adoption consists of an approved application, proceeded by a vet check, and then a meet and greet of the foster dog. Just because you apply for adoption does not necessarily mean you’ll be contacted if you are not what we are looking for for that particular dog.
Marbles is current on all vaccinations, including Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella. He has also been neutered, microchipped, fecal and heartworm tested.
