Story
Vader is a great dog who needs someone who will give him affection and love. His original owner was my cousin who was battling breast cancer when she adopted him. Due to her illness Vader was being pad trained and not house broken. I brought him home with me when she could no longer care for him. I have tried to crate train and house train him I have not been successful. Hopefully I can find him a loving home with someone who has the time and patience to do so.

Story
Hello meet Rusty!! Hes an older dog but has the heart of a pup, he loves soft treats, playing fetch and lounging around, he is potty trained and just wants to be a lap dog. He had severe anxiety when we met but with time he got better, he's still anxious with long silences and if there are other large dogs in the house (small dogs are ok if they’re fixed) I’m unable to take care of him anymore and I’m unable to find someone close to care for him, I want him to find a home where he can be the main priority he needs peace and understanding. He really is a sweet boy and wants needs a forever home.

Story
Meet Wooyeon, * Medical History: Previously treated for Babesia and heartworm. Treatment completed. *Rescue Story Wooyeon was found wandering the streets by two sisters, who brought her to a veterinary clinic. At the hospital, she was diagnosed with Babesia and heartworm. Unfortunately, due to the high cost of treatment, the original sisters left her at the hospital and could not continue her care. She was later transferred to a nearby private shelter, where she received full treatment and recovery support. Since then, she has been living at the shelter and is now healthy and ready to find her forever home. - Compatibility With Cats: She has briefly encountered cats at the veterinary hospital and showed no strong reaction. She was not particularly interested. With Other Dogs: She gets along very well with all other dogs and can be adopted into a multi-dog household. With Adults and Children: Very friendly and affectionate with both adults and children. Personality & Behavior Leash Manners: Very good on walks. Food Allergies / Diet: No known food allergies. She has mild tear staining, so allergies are suspected but have not been tested. She is not a picky eater. House Training: Prefers outdoor elimination. Separation Anxiety: None observed. Barking: No excessive barking. She may bark when excited or greeting people. Likes & Dislikes: She deeply loves people and craves human affection. Three Words to Describe Her Affectionate. Energetic. Cheerful. ---------- 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Story
Apple is a 1-year-old Havanese weighing around 12 lbs who is still learning to feel safe in the world. She was rescued from a hoarding situation, and because of that, she’s taking her time figuring out how to navigate life with people. Apple is crate trained and is fine with other dogs and cats, but also likes her own space. With humans, she needs a slower approach. She can become defensive when she feels unsure, so it’s important that her adopter understands the value of patience, consistency, and giving her the space to build confidence at her own pace. She tends to bond more quickly with women and thrives in a calm, predictable environment. Apple would do best in a quiet home with someone who can meet her where she is and gently guide her forward. With time and understanding, she has all the potential to grow into a deeply loyal and loving companion. Approved adopters interested in Apple can email adopt@hbrdogs.com for more info. Story
Nate is a 1-year-old Havanese weighing around 17 pounds, and while he may look like the world’s cutest cuddle buddy, Nate would very much prefer that admiration come from a respectful distance — at least for now. Coming from a severe hoarding situation, humans are still a big question mark to him, and he copes by keeping space between himself and the people around him. Being touched is not something he’s comfortable with yet, and he needs an adopter who truly understands that trust for dogs like Nate is earned slowly, quietly, and entirely on his terms. What Nate lacks in human confidence, he more than makes up for in his love of other dogs. They are his safe place, his comfort, and his joy. Nate absolutely must go to a home with at least one other dog, and he would especially love a playful canine sibling to romp around with. He’s a happy, playful little guy with dogs, loves toys, and thrives when he has another pup to follow and learn from. He’s wonderfully respectful of other dogs’ boundaries and has a very gentle social style. Nate is looking for a patient, compassionate adopter who won’t expect instant affection and who can celebrate the small victories along the way — a curious glance, choosing to stay nearby, joining in play, relaxing a little more each day. Dogs like Nate require time, understanding, and zero pressure, but watching them slowly discover safety and confidence is incredibly rewarding. He may never be the kind of dog who wants to be carried around or snuggled on the couch, and that’s okay. Nate deserves a home that loves him exactly as he is. Approved adopters interested in Nate can email adopt@hbrdogs.com for more info. If you’re not approved yet, apply today at hbrdogs.com
