Story
We have had Ariel since she was a puppy. She is a little over 10 years old and still loves playing with her stuffed animal toys and playing fetch with a tennis ball. She knows basic commands (sit, shake, speak, lay down, go to your bed). She is not crate trained, although, I believe with time she would go in but you might hear about it for a while. She would thrive with someone who works from home although she is currently home alone from around 8:30 am to 3:00 pm with no major issues. We need to rehome due to a recent move. Our landlords are generous enough to give us some time to find her a knew home. We are not asking anything for her other than a good home. She is a little skiddish with new people but generally warms up to them after a day or two. She is due most of her vaccines although she recently recieved the rabies vaccination. Any other questions feel free to reach out.

Story
Max (Maxi) is a 7-year-old Havanese mix weighing approximately 10 pounds. This handsome little guy is house trained, crate trained, and full of personality. Max is smart, loyal, and knows several commands, including sit, paw, and down. He even waits patiently for permission before enjoying his meals. Max loves belly rubs, chin scratches, cozy naps, and carrying around his favorite toy, Bear Bear. He forms strong bonds with his people and thrives in a home that provides structure, consistency, and clear expectations. Because of his personality and attachment to his people, Max is looking for an adult-only home with an experienced dog owner. He is not a first-time dog and will do best with someone who understands that trust and relationships take time. Max can be nervous around new people and loud noises, but with patience and routine, he settles in well and becomes a devoted companion. Max has a seizure disorder that is well controlled with medication. He has been seizure-free for nearly two years and takes his medication easily. His medication costs approximately $8 per month, and he simply needs routine veterinary monitoring twice a year to ensure he continues to do well. As a Havanese mix, Max will require regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and comfortable. Through no fault of his own, Max is looking for a new home because his owner is moving out of state and is unable to take him along. While this decision has been incredibly difficult, the hope is to find him a loving family where he can continue to thrive. Max’s adoption fee has been waived, but our adoption screening and approval process still applies. If you are looking for a smart, loyal companion with plenty of personality, Max may be the perfect fit. Foster Homes Needed! Do you have time and room in your life for a foster dog? http://www.muttloverescue.org/foster.html *****************   Sweet, laid-back Leo is a 10/11 year-young gentleman looking for his forever home. He came to Mutt Love after his beloved human mom could no longer care for him due to cancer, and now he’s ready to be someone’s loyal little sidekick. Leo is a quiet, easygoing pup with a lovable 17-lb “dad bod” (a light diet and plenty of walks are in his future). He thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. Once he chooses “his person”, he’s ALL IN. Think loyal shadow, professional snuggler, and emotional support sidekick. He is fully house-trained, loves his toys, and does well with children and other dogs. Cats are still an unknown. Astro & Scooby (bonded Pair) Astro: Poodle Mix 4 years old 24 lbs White Scooby: Poodle Mix 3 years old 17.5lbs White Meet Astro: Astro is a loving, friendly dog with a sweet personality and a loyal heart. He enjoys being close to his people, whether that means curling up on the couch, following you from room to room, or settling into your lap for extra attention. While he is mostly a laid-back couch potato, Astro has a playful “witching hour” in the evenings when he loves to romp around the house with toys, especially stuffed toys with squeakers that bring out his playful hunting instincts. He is friendly with new people and generally does well with other dogs, though he can be a little cautious at first. Astro would likely thrive in a quieter home environment where he can feel secure and relaxed. He may need patience when left alone, but he continues to improve with reassurance and consistency. One of Astro’s most endearing qualities is how devoted he is to his brother, often grooming him affectionately throughout the day. Astro was rescued with his brother, and they share a close bond. Meet Scooby: Scooby is a gentle, reserved dog who takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet nature shines through, especially in his irresistible puppy-dog eyes. He has a calm, medium-energy personality and enjoys going on walks and relaxing with his people. Scooby tends to ignore other dogs for the most part, though he shares a very close bond with his brother. He would likely do best in a quieter adult household where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. Scooby can become anxious when left alone and may bark at times, so he will benefit from patient adopters who can provide reassurance and stability. He settles into car rides quickly after some initial nervousness and tolerates grooming with a little encouragement. Scooby is still learning basic commands like sit and stay, which gives his future family a wonderful opportunity to bond with him through positive training and encouragement. Please Note: **No children under 10!** If you are interested in adopting ASTRO & SCOOBY, please visit our website at www.somersetcottagepoodlerescue.org to learn about our adoption process and download the adoption application, or click ADOPT ME! below. ASTRO & SCOOBY's adoption donation is $1495 *Must Be Adopted Together*
