Story
Teddy Bear is 15 years old and has always been an indoor cat . He is declawed and has lived with a female Persian cat his entire life. Unfortunately we are moving again and Teddy Bear has not been treating his sister cat and our dog in the house so nicely. We love Teddy Bear but unfortunately he is not happy with our dog and last house change and now we are moving again! We hope to find him a good home. Teddy Bear is healthy and on No medications.

Story
*** Salt & Pepper are at Cat & Craft in Vista. ***Salt #19669: cream/gray/white colorpoint, medium hair, neutered male, born approx. 8/10/24Pepper #19670: gray/black tabby, medium hair, neutered male, born approx. 8/10/24Cats: **BONDED PAIR** & like othersDogs: noChildren: calm tweens+ BACKGROUND: Salt and Pepper were taken in by a person who planned to keep them, but the cats were terrified of the Great Dane in the home and introduction efforts didn’t work. We were asked if we could help Salt and Pepper find a loving home that will be a better fit for them.PERSONALITY: Salt and Pepper are sweet kitties who appreciate affection in a calm setting. They have had several big changes in their lives and need an adopter who will understand their need for a lengthy adjustment period. Salt is more confident and relaxes first, and he will dip his head into your hand so that you can especially give him all the good cheek rubs he likes so much when it’s petting time; he’s also good with being brushed. Pepper needs a bit longer, and he may hiss to express his uncertainty in the beginning, but he too will welcome pets once he’s started to get his bearings. They like to cuddle together on high perches with their tails and feet hanging off. Both brothers are very sweet and gentle-natured, and it is lovely to watch them blossom. Once they finally land in the security of a forever home, we have no doubt that they will be shining brightly as their person’s cherished companions.---Salt and Pepper MUST be adopted together.COMPATIBILITY: Salt and Pepper enjoy the company of other cats in addition to their brotherly bond. They do not want to live with dogs. They would do best in a quiet and routine-oriented home with an adopter who is willing to give them unconditional love as they adjust at their own pace. For this reason, younger children would not be a good fit, and we recommend calm cat-savvy tweens and up.Salt and Pepper are hoping their next move will be their last and they will find a patient and accepting adopter with the open and welcoming heart to give them time to adjust and flourish. Will you be their hero?
