Meet Zeppelin! This handsome boy was found homeless and scared. Brought into the shelter last year, Zep has been thriving in his foster home! He was on that awful E-List!! Zeppelin, true to his breed, takes some time to warm up. However, once he does choose you, he’s your best buddy! He deserves a chance at love and he’s depending on us to find him the right fit! Zep says: I was picked up as a stray so my foster mom has had to figure me out. The really nice loving volunteers at the shelter worked hard to help me too! I listen to my foster mom when she calls me, and I have shown her I have some basic manners. I really like when she rubs my belly, ears and neck - it feels great! I even saw a stray cat in my foster yard - Woof Woof! I sure would love a forever home. I look forward to it! ...pwease! My foster Mom says:•I’m Housebroken•I’m playful, goofy, sweet tempered, curious, and have an abundance of personality!•Will sit patiently for snacks, loves treats. •Loves pets and whole body massages!•He has the sweetest eyes, and this big adorable smile! •Crate trained.•Takes some time to trust people.•I am a good ball player.•Strong walker who always seems to have a destination in mind.•I like car rides and am well-behaved on the road. •I am very smart - knows sit, stay, leave it, and come.Do you have a secure big yard? I really like to run around outside.I get bursts of playful excitement and want to do zoomies!Give this cute boy a chance to be your best friend!! Please share and spread the word about me so I can find a good forever home! If you’re interested in meeting me: (Zeppelin A784746) Email pacc.adoptafoster@pima.gov today! ...pwease! This calm, gentle and shy giant takes time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts, he loves. He is also a loyal friend. He loves his doggy friends and seems to be in tune with human emotions. He would make a fantastic pirate with his dual colored eyes and unique ear. He also loves to bury his `treasure` and loves to be with his crew. He does well with kids, loves car rides and will play fetch until your arms are tired. Ask about adopting this boy today at pacc.adoptafoster@pima.gov!

Story
Dime is a very sweet lady and another of several dogs with heterochromia in the shelter right now- that means she has two different colored eyes, one chocolatey brown and one icy blue! Dime lived in one home her whole life before coming to the shelter. She lived with other dogs, was housebroken and doggy door trained, and was described by her former person as being very affectionate. Here’s what her volunteer friends have said about her:“Dime was a very good girl during this week`s walk. She was eager to explore the park but looked back to me often. Didn`t pull much and didn`t react to other dogs. Her cute tail was wagging the whole time. She sat pretty and gave me a big smile for photos. What a lovely girl!”“Dime is very friendly! Eager to go on a walk- she is strong but easy to manage. Easy to leash in kennel and sociable. A beautiful, athletic dog. She spent most of her time exploring the yard and sniffing. Sweet girl.”“Dime is a sweet, friendly girl and so beautiful! She has become a favorite of mine and I look forward to spending time with her whenever I’m at the shelter. Someone will be so lucky to add her their family!”Dime spent about a month in a foster home where she was reportedly a quiet houseguest, enjoyed sleeping on the comfy couch or a bed, and was again housebroken. She enjoys playing with squeaky toys and was described by her foster as friendly, cuddly and loving. She loves to go for walks, learns routines quickly, is smart, and aims to please! Her foster said that Dime’s tail is always wagging and that she cuddles up to people any chance that she gets!Dime has mostly kept to herself and explored the yard when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She was described by staff as being very easygoing overall, mostly enjoying being near the people in the yard. Ask to meet Dime today!

Story
Hi there, lovely folks! I'm Sulley, and I'm thrilled to make your acquaintance. While I may not be James P. Sullivan, I've got my own unique brand of charm to offer. Let me tell you a little about myself: I'm a dashing husky with a coat that's as fluffy as can be - if I do say so myself! I'm a bit of a scholar; I've been to school and I'm always eager to pursue higher education (and by that, I mean learning all about you and your world!). I'm crate trained, so I know how to keep things neat and tidy. I can be a bit shy at first, but once I warm up to you, you'll see my heart of gold. Lately, I've been contemplating the joys of being a couch potato - it's starting to look like a pretty great pastime! I think the ideal home for me would be with some kind-hearted adults and possibly another furry friend to keep me company. Could that be your home? You see, I was rescued by these wonderful folks just in the nick of time, sparing me from a dire fate. But as grateful as I am, living in the rescue can't be my forever home. I'm ready to embark on a new adventure, and I'm hoping that adventure leads me straight to your heart and home. If you're looking for a loyal, fluffy companion who's been patiently waiting for a chance to shine, please consider meeting me. Together, we can create a story of love and belonging that lasts a lifetime. Let's make my dreams come true - complete an application to set up a meet-and-greet. I can't wait to meet my future family! Adoption application: https://bit.ly/44dKWUv Can't adopt? Please consider fostering. WE provide food, supplies and vet care. YOU provide a loving home! Story
URGENT FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED Hi everyone! My name is Marcos, and I'm a lovable 3-year-old boy. Let me start by telling you a little about my skills: I'm house-broken and crate trained - I've got those basics down pat! And when it comes to making friends, I'm a total pro. I'm dog-friendly and have a blast playing tag with my fellow furry pals. Zooming around the yard, chasing and being chased - it's all in a day's play for me! But there's one thing I'd like to make clear - while I'm a social butterfly with my dog buddies, my prey drive is on the high side. That's why I need a special forever home with no small dogs or cats. I want to ensure that everyone in the household feels safe and comfortable, including the little critters. Leash walks? Oh, I'm an expert! I'll strut my stuff by your side, making each walk a delightful adventure. And when the day winds down, there's nothing I love more than snuggling up for some quality cuddles and a movie marathon. Yep, I'm the ultimate couch buddy! Now, here's the exciting part: I'm all prepped and ready to find my forever family. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with affection, play tag like a pro, and melt your heart with cuddles, I might just be the perfect match for you. So, let's make a deal - you provide the love and care, and I'll bring endless joy and laughter into your life. If you're interested in making me a part of your forever story, reach out and ask for Marcos. Let's start this incredible journey together! Adoption application: https://bit.ly/44dKWUv Can't adopt? Attention all coffee lovers, meet Mocha! This sweet senior loves all people- adults and kids alike. Although she`s an older gal, she still has a lot of pep in her step! Mocha did well when meeting to her dogs in playgroup, and was very tolerant of the other dogs. Mocha walks well on a leash, is housebroken, and is trustworthy when left home alone. If you`re looking for a mellow senior to cuddle up with, Mocha is the dog for you! No small dogs or cats please!

Story
We’ve had a lot of dogs named Bear pass through our shelter- regular Bears, Blue Bears, Grizzlies, Pandas, even a Sun Bear- you name the bear, they’ve all been here. But, this Bear might just be the most bear-looking bear we’ve ever had. Is it a dog? Is it a bear? From a distance, frankly, it’s hard to say. This handsome ursine sir promises he’s a dog though, so we’ve taken his word for it. Bear is a fairly mellow kind of fella- he’s a senior who is just looking for a retirement home where he can forage around the yard and hibernate as needed. He’s a favorite of many volunteers and is an absolute joy to spend time with. Bear has shared his kennel with many different furry friends during his time at PACC and was social, tolerant, and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Bear is looking for a home without small dogs and one where he’ll be kept safe and sound at home with his family- this Bear has had enough seasonal migration for a lifetime and wants to settle down for good. He’d also prefer a home without young kiddos. Here is what we learned about Bear during a brief stay in a foster home:- He did well with an older child (13 years)- He loves to find sunny spots around the house to nap in- He’s housebroken- He likes to chew on toys- He’s great on leash- He enjoys belly rubs and was described as a sweet and gentle good boyPlease ask about Bear today!!

Story
As Dwight Schrute once said, `All you need is love? False. The four basic human necessities are air, water, food and shelter.” While he’s technically right, you do also need love- the love of a good dog that is! And don’t worry, our Dwight is way more fun than his namesake- though we haven’t asked him how he feels about beets. Anyway…Dwight and another furry friend were found by a kind person who took them in for a couple of days before bringing them to the shelter. They said that Dwight was very affectionate and seemed to really love people. He was a bit nervous when he first arrived at PACC but has really started to open up. Here’s what one volunteer said:“Wow, talk about a glow-up! Dwight went from being a nervous, timid guy, to a totally outgoing, friendly, snuggly, playful dude! I had Dwight and his kennelmate out in a play yard and Dwight was a super affectionate goofball! He came to me when called and leaned into me for lots of pets, allowing touch all over his body, including his head, neck, and ears. He has really come out of his shell and is showing off the wonderful pup he really is!”Dwight shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Dwight today!!
