Story
Earnie came to PACC after he was found as a stray and jumped right into the care of his finder. Earnie quickly found a foster who has reported a whole bunch of great notes! His fosters have let us know that Earnie is the total package: smart, affectionate, well-behaved, and full of playful energy! Earnie is house trained and can be trusted to roam the home freely when you`re away—no chewing, no barking, no accidents. At night, he sleeps peacefully on his bed and knows all the good dog manners like sit, stay, lay down, and shake (both paws!). When it comes to people, Earnie is an absolute sweetheart. He loves meeting new folks, handing out kisses, and cuddling whenever the opportunity strikes. His favorite activities include tug of war, fetch, swimming, and sniffing every interesting plant during long walks. He’s got a playful side that shines through whether he’s toting around his squeaky tennis ball or snuggling with his toy lambs. His ideal home? Ernie would thrive in an active household with people who can keep up with his zest for life. A big yard would be a bonus, and he’d love a family that can include him in outdoor adventures, playtime, and maybe even some scenic drives—his favorite way to sightsee is with his head out the window, ears flapping in the wind.

Story
Zeus is a stunning husky mix with piercing blue eyes and the classic husky charm to match. He’s house-trained, dog-friendly, and currently in foster where he`s been showing off his affectionate, goofy personality. True to his breed, Zeus has the best `woowoos` and a lot to say, especially in the mornings! He loves cuddles, happily shoves his face into your hand for pets, and will rest his head in your lap if given the chance. This sweet guy just wants someone to love him, feed him, and give him a little time to feel safe.Zeus plays well with his husky foster sibling and other dogs in the home and has been polite with cats so far. Zeus walks well on leash and is a smart pup currently learning `sit` and his name. He’s highly food-motivated and loves to learn. Zeus would thrive in an active home that understands huskies and can continue helping him build confidence. Ask to meet Zeus today—your new adventure buddy is waiting!

Story
Zeke is a very handsome Husky who has been bouncing in and out of the shelter system for the last few months. He’d love to find a secure home and a committed family who can help him say goodbye to PACC for good! Here’s what one volunteer said:“First time walking Zeke. On our walk, I sat at a picnic table and after a few minutes he approached near enough to be petted. He relaxed after that, and then followed his nose for the rest of the walk. He has a strong sniffer and seemed to really enjoy time to deeply smell. Upon return to the kennel, Zeke was more accepting of treats and interaction, and did a few excellent sits.”Zeke has been described by staff as easy to handle, sweet, friendly and gentle- a curious, social, gentle giant who enjoys playing in the doggy pool. Zeke shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet Zeke today!
