Story
Atlas is looking for a new home with someone nice to go on adventures with. Located in NWA but we can transport up to 4 hours or so away. He generally gets along with dogs after a warm up and careful introduction period. He currently lives with a cat peacefully. He is defensive if someone tries to eat out of his bowl. He has only ever lived with adults. He is fine when we encounter small kids on walks but I believe he would not be suitable for living with little ones who might try to wrestle, squeeze him or get in his face because he’s is not used to that. He is ten years old but he is still getting around just fine and up for hikes and dips in the river. He has a typical sensitive stomach but that just means he can't share your pizza. He loves long car rides and catching treats tossed in the air. He is potty trained but will not hold it in all day and needs to be let out to pee regularly. He sheds that fluff, so you have to be okay with fur on you.

Story
Krampus is a sweet, soulful man. He is gentle and loving, and simultaneously naughty and ready to start a bit of trouble. If you want to be sure your kitchen counters are clean and never leave a dirty dish out, Krampus will get you in line. He does great with routine and likes to know when he is being a good boy. Krampus cannot be trusted to use a dog door as he can jump a privacy fence. And he will do so! He does well with a stake/tie-out or monitored outside time. A heavy duty (see Impact brand) crate is recommended in his home.He loves playing with dog friends and gets along with nearly everyone he meets. Krampus walks well on a leash and loves going for walks. At 10 years old, he is spry but also loves to lounge.Big Paws of the Ozarks is a foster-based dog rescue in Northwest Arkansas.
