Story
We originally acquired Nala at 1 year old from a family in Carlsbad that was moving and unable to take her with them. She is fully house-trained and well-mannered. She is 4 years old (July puppy), and she loves to be the center of attention. She's energetic and surprisingly quiet unless you specifically get her talking; then she has a lot to say. She loves walks and running around. She will always be close by your side and is a great camping companion. There is some anxiety when leaving the house, but she will calm down after a short time (as seen on camera). She can be a curious dog (typical husky) and put her mouth on things that may be left around, but I can count on one hand the number of times it's happened since we've adopted her. Unfortunately, with my son's recent diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and my looming deployment, the amount of time that she gets the attention that she needs has significantly decreased and is limited.

Story
Like most huskies, Sage is sassy and feisty. She is the best girl and she needs a lot of playtime and exercise (like three walks a day or several hours of play time with dogs). The only reason we are rehoming is because we can no longer meet her needs (and our landlords are pissed). She loves to go to dog parks and dog beach. She gets a long with and loves to play with most dogs. She is healthy and unfortunately she is an atrocious counter surfer. We have lots of toys, treats, and preventative medicine available for anyone who'd like to adopt her. Experience with huskies or other high energy/tough train breeds recommended.

Story
Meet Koda a 5 yr old husky mix! Adopted from the SD Humane Society, there was no background information about this cute guy when we adopted him 4 months ago . He is a laid back dog. He LOVES to be pet and cuddled and overall just a big goofy boy. He will nudge your hand for pets. Koda will also wait by the door to be leashed and taken out. An ideal home for Koda would be a family that can spoil him or with dog friends around the same age as him. He is great with children over the age of 7+ years old, he is super patient with kids. We love him however our other senior dog and him do not get along and after we saw that he does like playing with other dogs of varying breeds and gender we realized that our first dog just doesn’t get along with him. **adoption fee is negotiable** we only care if he is going to a loving and caring home.

Story
Age: 5y Gender: Female Breed: Husky mix Weight: 40 Personality: Very sweet and loving, with lots of energy. She has mild separation anxiety and whimpers for a short period when you leave home but then settles. Friendliness: Dogs: Selective Cats: Selective Kids: Yes Education: Fully bathroom trained and crate trained and is learning to be the best girl on a leash Favorite Activities: Playing and going for long walks, spending time with her humans Looking For: A loving home to provide her with exercise and take her out on long walks. Sonrisa is good with other dogs, although she can be bossy sometimes; she will be fine in a home with another dog or a cat with proper introduction, or she can be an only pet. She is great with kids, so having kids in the house would be good, too! Special Needs: None My adoption fee is $250 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.  If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/.  ##2566533##

Story
Imagine a life with a serene and gentle snow dog? Meet our lovely 2yr old laid-back girl Luna🌙. She and her 2 puppies needed rescue so we stepped up, she deserves a life of luxury and is ready for her forever home🏡 . Her foster mom says she adores to spend time with her humans to get plenty of pets and bellyrubs, and also unwinds a lot during the day. She’s house trained, loves daily walks, is great on a leash and seems to enjoy her peaceful environment😸. She might be best as an only dog cuz she truly thinks she is a princess👑 but never rule out a sibling. She's a bigger girl weighing in at 62lbs but she wears it well. She's truly an awesome choice and she's waiting to hear from you! She's chipped, vaccinated and spayed so look into that sweet face and get your application in ASAP cuz she's excited to meet you!!😻🤠 Currently being cared for in Southern California, Luna can be transported to northern states such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, or other locations within the continental United States, where a loving family awaits to welcome the sweet girl.
