Story
Meet Mousey, this almost seniorish boy is around 7 years old. He was relinquished to a high kill shelter in Downy by his owner who could no longer care for him. Mouse is around 90 lbs and is nothing but a lover boy. He seeks affection from anyone who will give it to him. He doesn't quite understand his size and would be best suited for a home with older kids (12 and up). Mouse was scheduled to be euthanized for space. Luckily with the amazing help of the community he was transported and found a safe foster in San Diego. He has all the quirky attributes of a husky and malamute. He's strong and is working on his leash skills. He's active and curious. Mousey loves to play with his ball and other toys. He is very vocal and loves to demand attention from his humans. He'd do best with canine friends who love to play and a yard to romp around in.

Story
Meet Daytona! Daytona is a 1-year-old Husky mix with a big heart, playful energy, and an even bigger love for cuddles. She’s the kind of dog who is just as happy chasing a ball at the dog park as she is curling up next to you on the couch afterward. And if you have tennis balls lying around… consider yourself warned — Daytona believes every ball was made to be destroyed. She’s house trained, crate trained, and does great with other animals, kids, and people when given proper introductions. Daytona can be a little timid around new people or dogs at first, especially when someone unexpectedly comes through the door, so she’ll do best with a patient owner who can continue helping her build confidence and feel secure in new situations. Daytona would thrive in a home with another dog or other animals to play with and learn from. She loves running, playing, exploring, and being included in everyday life. While she has a fun, energetic side, she’s also incredibly affectionate and would gladly snuggle up beside you in bed if invited. She’s currently working on things like barking when strangers arrive and improving her recall, so she’ll do best with an experienced dog owner — or someone willing to give her gentle guidance, consistency, and lots of encouragement as she continues growing into an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a loving, playful dog with a sweet soul and lots of personality, Daytona might just be your perfect match.

Story
Meet Noodles — a one-year-old Husky mix with a personality as fun as her name! Noodles is a goofy, happy girl who brings smiles wherever she goes. She absolutely lives for belly rubs and will happily flop over to ask for one whenever she gets the chance. Toys are another favorite — she loves picking them up and proudly carrying them around like little treasures. True to her Husky spirit, Noodles has a playful, energetic side and loves to run. One of her favorite games is being chased by her dog friends around the yard, making her a great match for a home with another playful pup, especially larger dogs. In her foster home, Noodles has also done well with a 10-year-old child, showing her sweet and friendly nature. She’s the kind of dog who brings a lot of joy, laughter, and a little bit of silly chaos in the best possible way. If you're looking for a playful companion who will keep you laughing, join you for adventures, and then happily roll over for belly rubs at the end of the day, Noodles might just be your perfect match! 🐾 Her adoption fee is $495 and covers her vaccinations, spay and medical.
