Hi, I'm Ruger, a handsome Husky / Shepherd X in need of a new home as sadly my owner can no longer care for me due to medical reasons and having to move to an assisted living facility. I'm grateful to CARL for accepting me into their adoption program. I know they will help me find my forever home. I enjoy being with people, going on walks or going to the dog park. I'm sweet, lovable and very active. I love to cuddle, receive belly rubs and I think I'm a lap dog. I need a home with no cats and with a fence at least 6 feet tall. I'm choosy with other dogs, so if you have a fur baby in the home already, please bring him/her along so we can do a meet and greet. I'm very food protective around other dogs, so we'd have to be fed separately. I've lived my life with a retired adult, but I am great with children and adults. I'm used to sleeping on the bed with my owner or on the sofa. Hopefully you'll allow me to do the same. Looking for a loving, stable home for our 6- to 7-year-old husky/German shepherd/?? mix. She's quiet, rarely barks, great with dogs and cats, and good with people but more independent. Not much of a cuddler, but an easy, well-behaved companion. She'll go with everything she needs, including three beds, food and water bowls, many months of dog food, about four months of NexGard, toys, and full vet records. She successfully completed heartworm treatment about three years ago and has done well since. Our priority is a safe, loving permanent home. MEET BASS & TENOR! This happy and loving duo has waited much too long for a home but we can't split them up. They are a loving, fun pair of playful dogs who need a foster or forever home! They are very affectionate toward people, and love, love, love each other. They are likely brothers, who found themselves at a crowded California shelter with no adoption interest. Fortunately they were rescued but still haven't found a home yet. They must be adopted together as they are extremely bonded. Both are almost 8 years old. Bass, the brown-and-white pup, weighs only 55 lbs., and Tenor (tan and white) weighs about 60 lbs. They are fun, active pups who love to run, play and snuggle with each other. They would love to be adopted by someone who could take them on hikes, walks and other outings. They currently play with each other for entertainment but it'd be great for them to branch out and see the world. Bass & Tenor love to jump up and give kisses. They are not super friendly with other dogs, so should be the only dogs in the home - but they have plenty of love to give and will be grateful to whomever adopts them. MEET BENJI, a handsome and fun-loving 2-year-old Siberian Husky-shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home! He weighs only 48 lbs! Benji was rescued from a crowded California shelter, where he did great with other dogs. He's a sweet boy and is incredibly smart. He will do great with an active person or people who love to go for walks, hikes and other outings. If you can foster or adopt Benji, please email for an application and additional photos. He is still in California but can be transported to Colorado.
