Story
WE ARE SORRY BUT WE ONLY ADOPT WITHIN THE STATE OF FLORIDA Kohana is a handsome, senior boy at 10 years old. He came in as an owner surrender due to the owner becoming disabled and had to move in with her daughter who had other dogs that didn't get along with him. Kohana is a big boy at around 100 lbs. and sweet with adults. Particularly with females, he loves to sit on you. Unfortunately, he does not like kids and will bark at them. He'll give you a nudge with his head and paw at you when he wants attention. Out of character for most Huskies, if someone comes to the door or approaches the car while he is in it he will get excited and bark. He walks well on a leash and can walk with multiple dogs. He gets along with other dogs and will engage in playing with them. He does well in a car and likes to go for rides. This boy has storm anxiety as many dogs do. He loves to be brushed and get belly rubs. He's very food driven, and food needs to be kept off counters and trashcans need to be stored in pantries or inside a cabinet. Of note, he’s used to being with other dogs but he can be possessive of his humans and would do very well as the only dog, too. Kohana is healthy, Heartworm negative, housetrained, up to date on his shots and neutered. This is a sweet, lovable older boy who deserves a forever home for his remaining years. Hi-My name is Ranger and I`m a Diamond Dog. Please ask about the special perks that come with my adoption.I LOVE: treats and I can catch them midair.I KNOW: I`m easy on the leash and the commands Sit, Paw and Down. Sometimes, I give a quick bark because I`m waiting for a treat but I will gently accept them. The volunteers say I`m the perfect mix of charm, brains and good looks.IF YOU`RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE: to keep you warm on those cold Florida nights, that`s me! I`m a fluffy guy.I AM SPECIAL BECAUSE: I have unique pink and black nose and a curly-Q tail. Please, pick me.

Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Meet Moose, our stunning 3-year-old Husky mix with a big personality, a big heart, and an even bigger zest for life! ❤️🐾 Moose is a high-energy, fun-loving boy who truly shines when he gets the chance to run, play, and burn off that Husky enthusiasm. He loves other dogs and would do wonderfully with a playful canine companion to help match his energy. He’s also great with kids and is as sweet and affectionate as they come. This handsome guy is smart and very treat-motivated, making training a rewarding experience for both him and his future family. He will benefit from continued training and some leash work—he’s eager to learn, he just needs someone to guide him. Moose will need an experienced, active adopter or family who understands the needs of an athletic Husky mix. Because he can easily clear a 4–5 ft fence, he requires a secure 6 ft fenced yard to keep him safe during his playtime. He’s a bit of a marker right now, but with consistency, routine, and structure, he can absolutely improve. Moose is ready for adventure, ready for love, and ready to finally find his perfect match. If you’re active, outdoorsy, and looking for a loyal companion who will keep you smiling, Moose just might be your guy! ‍ Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Story
Meet Chassie – a survivor looking for her happily ever after!   Chassie has been through more than any dog should. When her previous owners decided they didn’t want her anymore, they tried to end her life—but thankfully, she was saved just in time. Now this resilient girl is safe, thriving with her foster family, and ready to find the loving forever home she truly deserves.   Chassie is an older lady with a touch of arthritis, but don’t let that fool you—her spunky spirit still shines. With the help of joint supplements, she enjoys long morning and evening walks full of sniffs, some good backyard sunbathing, and plenty of cozy nap time around the house.   She’s incredibly smart—she knows how to sit, give paw, and wait—but as a true husky, she also knows how to pick and choose when she feels like showing off those skills! What Chassie never hesitates to share, though, is her heart. She’s never met a human she doesn’t like, greeting everyone she meets with wagging tails and cheerful “awooos.”   Chassie would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the love, cuddles, and attention without having to share. She’s affectionate when she wants to be, goofy, independent, and full of personality—the perfect mix of sass and sweetness that makes huskies so unforgettable.   After surviving the worst, Chassie is ready for the best: a family who will cherish her for the rest of her days. Could that be you?   ##1558862##

Story
Aragon is a stunning 5–7 year old Husky with mesmerizing multicolored eyes and a calm, gentle spirit. Aragon's previous owner could no longer care for him and he was about to be euthanized, when one of our awesome volunteers in PR stepped in and fostered him. He is now thriving in his foster home in Tampa Bay and hoping to find his forever home—and winning hearts everywhere he goes. Aragon is a quiet, affectionate boy with a sweet and slightly goofy nature. He’s easygoing, loves to be near his people, and has a calming presence that makes him a joy to be around. Whether he’s lounging by your side or making you laugh with his silly quirks, Aragon is the kind of dog who brings warmth and comfort to any home. He’s currently living with both dogs and cats and gets along well with everyone he meets—making him a great fit for a multi-pet household. If you're looking for a low-key, loving companion to share your days with, Aragon might just be the one. ##2434627##
