Our hope is to find a beautiful new home/family for our Siberian Husky Mix, Onyx (even though he looks like a lab lol). He’s the smartest, sweetest boy who loves to spends most of his day happily hanging out with you. We adore him, but with our move to an apartment that doesn’t allow dogs his size, we’re left with no other option. We’re just looking for someone who can give him all the love he deserves.

Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Linus 🐾 💚 I’m a 1-year-old Husky mix with a sweet, energetic personality and a lot of love to give. I’m looking for a forever foster — a calm, patient human to call my own. I’d do best in an adults-only home with a fenced backyard where I can safely run, play, and burn off my energy. Walks are one of my favorite things, and I love exploring with my person! I’m crate trained, potty trained, and house trained, so I know my manners indoors. I have a gentle, loving demeanor, but I’m sensitive around new people, so I need someone who will respect my boundaries and give me space when I ask for it. I’m a really easy dog to care for and very low-maintenance in the home. I do enjoy being around my person and get excited to see you, but I’m not much of a cuddle bug—and that’s just part of who I am. I’ll come say hi, stay close for a bit, then happily do my own thing. I’m the kind of dog who loves having a home and a person, just not necessarily being on top of you all the time 🤣🥰 That also means I handle alone time really well—I’m not prone to separation anxiety or barking all day if you’re away, which makes me a great fit for someone with a routine or work schedule. I thrive with patience, love, and consistent training. I need a dedicated human who will guide me, challenge me, and build a strong bond with me — I promise, I’ll reward your time with loyalty, affection, and plenty of tail wags. ✨ My ideal home: • A calm, adults-only household • A fenced yard for safe play and exploration • Only dog in the home • Someone patient who understands I may show love in quieter ways • A person who wants a companion—not necessarily a constant cuddle buddy From my foster 💬 “He’s very sweet and easy to care for. He may not be super snuggly, but he does show excitement and affection in his own way. He’s independent, low-maintenance, and just needs someone willing to understand him and give him a chance.” If you’re looking for a loyal, independent companion who will happily share your space and your life… I might be your perfect match 💚 Adoption FEE: $0 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. LINUS HAS A HUMAN BITE RECORD. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. TO ADOPT, APPLY ONLINE: www.mercyfullprojects.org PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to supply all known information about each animal in their profile. If you have additional questions, you may send an inquiry email to adopt@mercyfullprojects.org to be answered at our earliest convenience. Story
Nora joined our family about six years ago after we rescued her at approximately two years old. She’s a very sweet, affectionate dog who loves to run, explore, and spend time with her people. She would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard—she enjoys being outside and the taller the fence, the better! Nora gets along well with other dogs and cats and has been a wonderful companion in our home. She has also done well with older children. Recently, however, she showed concerning behavior toward our infant, which has led us to the difficult decision to find her a new home better suited to her needs. We believe Nora would do best in a home without babies or very young children, ideally with an experienced owner who can provide a calm, structured environment where she can continue to thrive. She enjoys long walks on the beach :)

Story
Chassie is an older husky with some arthritis, but her spirit remains spunky and full of life. Her previous owners tried to end her life when they no longer wanted her, but she was saved just in time and is now safe with a foster family, doing well and ready for a permanent home. With the help of joint supplements, she enjoys long morning and evening walks where she can sniff and explore, as well as relaxing in the backyard and napping comfortably around the house. She is very smart and knows commands like sit, give paw, and wait, though like many huskies, she decides when she feels like performing. What she always offers freely is her affection—she greets people with a wagging tail and cheerful vocalizations. Chassie would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can have all of the attention, cuddles, and love to herself. She is affectionate on her own terms, a bit goofy and independent, and has plenty of personality. She likes people and has a lot of warmth to share. After surviving such a difficult experience, Chassie deserves a family who will value her and give her a peaceful, loving home for the rest of her days. She would be a good companion for someone who appreciates her unique character and can provide the right environment for her to continue enjoying life. ##1558862##

Story
Aragon is a 5–7 year old Husky with striking multicolored eyes and a calm, gentle nature. His previous owner could no longer care for him, and he was very close to being euthanized when a volunteer in Puerto Rico stepped in and saved him. He is now safe in a foster home in the Tampa Bay area, doing well and ready to find a permanent home. He is a quiet, affectionate dog with a slightly goofy side and an easygoing temperament. Aragon enjoys being near his people, has a very soothing presence, and is content with lounging, light play, and quiet companionship. He lives peacefully with both dogs and cats in his foster home and would be a nice fit for a multi-pet household. Aragon would be a good match for someone looking for a loyal, lower-key companion who is happy to simply be part of daily life—whether that’s relaxing on the couch, keeping you company while you work, or going for calm, enjoyable walks. After already getting a second chance at life, he is ready for a home that will offer him steady love and security. ##2434627##
