Story
Found Maverick in Missouri and decided to foster him rather than send him off to a shelter. We’re not sure the exact age, but the vets guess is around 12-13. New home should have a fenced in yard or willing to go on daily walks with him. 100% guaranteed he will run away if not. He sees an opening, he will take it. Every time. -Very sweet dog overall. -Has been around two small well-manners dogs and a well-mannered cat and they get along well. Can’t speak for bigger dogs. -loves to go on walks -Gets along with kids as I long as they don’t grab onto his back end. He’ll warn you, But he’s never bitten anyone or been aggressive -doesn’t like to go up/downstairs - Will follow you around the house and is a good companion. - does not howl or “talk” like other huskies, but he is expressive. Will let you know when he wants something; Usually water, food, potty break. -very, very friendly with strangers—would not make for a good guard dog.

Story
We have 2 wonderful dogs Hachi and San that are mother and daughter. Both are 60lbs. They are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. The mother is 4 years old and the daughter is 3 years old. The mother is half husky and half lab. The daughter is half German Shepard, 1/4 lab and 1/4 husky. They keep each other company, love each other dearly, love people, adults and kids alike and are extremely well behaved. We travel often so it's not fair for them to stay in kennels for months out of the year. We would love to find a caring home for Hachi and San and we know they will bring joy to a family.

Story
Ruby is looking for her fur-ever home! We rescued Ruby at the end of 2022 from a home with poor conditions. We put in a lot of work to get her house and crate trained. Ruby was born February 2022. She is a sweet girl with lots of energy. We’d love to find her a home that has experience with huskies. My husband I both got promoted recently and our schedules have changed. We unfortunately don't have the time to give her the attention she needs

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Kato is a happy dog who loves to chew on bones! He enjoys spending time with his humans.  He loves to go on long walks. Kato loves running around and knows several commands such as sit and touch. He is a spunky boy who loves to play and be the center of attention. He is a working dog who would love a job of some kind. Kato does needs to be the only dog in the home because he is selective about the dogs he is around. Kato is a kind, yet dominant and physically strong dog. Siberian Huskies are not a breed for 1st time dog owners.  They need a family who are experienced with Huskies and can maintain an alpha and kind position in the home. His new home requires a fenced-in backyard to run and play like a Husky should.Kato was a previous PRBJ dog who was returned after his owners stated they did not want him.  Kato was severely neglected coming in with all of his fur matted and dirty and unable to walk much due to the pulling of his fur.  The only thing we could do was take him in to have his fur completely shaved off.  In his pictures you can see how he looked when he was adopted out a few years ago with his full beautiful coat, then how he came in full of mats and then his new summer coat.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 27, 2024, 9:50 am
