Story
Padme is a bit shy and cautious. She loves pets and will put your hands and arm on her to force you to pet her. Padme has run with Mom and does really well. She can generally handle longer activities as long as it’s not too hot. She has a very high prey drive and will go after other small animals. She would not be a good fit for someone with cats and small pets. She prefers to be chased by the kids. This game she can play until the kids are worn out. She loves pets and will put your hands and arm on her to force you to pet her.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Meet The RANKS — Eight Husky-Mix Puppies Ready to Rally Your Heart &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143    These eight sweet pups arrived at Pet Rescue By Judy all the way from Alabama. They didn’t come with their mama and we don’t have her photos or full breed history, but everyone here thinks they’re husky mixes — with a likely smaller-breed parent, because these pups are smaller than a typical husky.  They are energetic, playful, and silly — perfect for an active person or an active family who wants to add a handful of joy (and a little zoom-room energy) to their home.  About the litter  This litter is lovingly called The Ranks because each puppy was named after a military rank.  Personality & ideal home  Energy level: Medium–high. These pups love playtime, puzzles, learning, and running. Best fit: An active individual or family — someone who will give walk-and-play time daily, start basic training, and provide consistent socialization. A fenced yard and access to outings (walks, hikes, supervised playtime) will make them happiest.   Important Information for New Puppy Parents   Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog, dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential.   We strongly recommend that the entire family participates in puppy training classes. This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the same commands and techniques, creating a clear and consistent environment for learning.   **Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families! Let’s set them up for a lifetime of love and success.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 24, 2025, 3:58 pm

Story
Ahoy! I’m Captain , your future adventure buddy, cuddle companion, and best friend wrapped into one fluffy, fun-loving Husky. I’m a happy-go-lucky guy who lives for the simple joys—car rides with the windows down, long walks in the fresh air, and cozy snuggles on the couch. I’m housebroken, crate-trained, and have great manners. I don’t need much—just a comfy spot to nap, a buddy to love, and a bit of adventure to keep my heart full. People? Oh, I adore them. I’m a world-class cuddle bug who’ll nudge your hand with my snoot for more pets and gently tap your arm if you dare stop. I’m just happiest when I’m close to my humans—whether we’re walking, lounging, or simply enjoying the moment together. Mornings are one of my favorite times—I’ll sleep in as long as you do, then give you a cheerful little howl to start the day. And if you’re heading out on an errand or road trip? I’m the best co-pilot you could ask for. I’ll lay down, relax, and soak in the view. I’m always ready for an adventure—whether it’s a walk, a jog, or a dip in the water (yes, I LOVE to swim!). If there’s a pond or a hose nearby, I’m diving in with pure joy. I’ve even been known to “help” with gardening… though I may be more enthusiastic than your flowers would like! I’m gentle with treats (frozen blueberries are my favorite!), and I’ll always greet you with a soft, happy howl when you come home—it’s my way of saying, “I missed you.” I get along great with female dogs and can warm up to male pups too with a proper introduction and a little time. I can be a bit protective over my food or bones, but hey, I’m still learning and just want to feel safe and understood. I haven’t met any cats, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about them yet. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and joy-filled Husky who can keep up with all your adventures and also be your snuggle buddy at the end of the day, I might just be the one for you. Let’s write our next chapter together—one full of fun, love, and a little splash of mischief.
