Story
Lupin-Siberian Husky. Born March 2021. Around 50lbs. Up to date on all vaccines. On monthly heartworm & flea/tick prevention. Rabies & Distemper/Parvo not due until March 2027. Require a grain-free diet. We are his second home. We got him from a family with a baby that he showed aggression towards. We are rehoming him bc we are now expecting & do not want to take the risk. We have had him for 3 years and he is around my 10 yr old nephew frequently & is perfectly friendly to him. I think he would be fine in a home w/ older children. He has been to dog parks and does well with other dogs that are his size or bigger. He would not do well in a home with any small pets. He has been the only pet weve had, so he is used to being the only dog. Is house trained. Knows basic commands- sit, down, come, shake, stay, off. Crated when we have company, but not at night or when we leave. He does not like being groomed. We will give everything we have for him to his new home.

Story
Meet Syrena, the pup who’s been dreaming of her forever home for far too long! This 10-month-old, 40-pound Husky mix is a bundle of joy wrapped in a soft, fluffy coat. Syrena's playful spirit will brighten even the gloomiest of days. She loves romping with doggy friends, splashing in her pool, and playing hide-and-seek with her favorite squeaky ball. When it’s time to relax, you’ll find her soaking up the sun in a fenced yard, her happy place for unwinding. While Syrena may take a little time to warm up to new people, her confidence blossoms with a canine companion by her side. A fenced yard and another dog are must-haves in her forever home, helping her feel secure as she adjusts to new adventures. Syrena does best in a home with older kids (8+), as quick movements can make her nervous. With hardwood floors and a doggy door she’s accident-free, but carpet is a little confusing for her—she sometimes mistakes it for grass. She’s also a fantastic walking buddy, loving both leisurely strolls and brisk hikes. Her calm demeanor and focus make her the perfect partner for outdoor adventures. Syrena will thrive with someone who is home more often than not, offering her the companionship and routine she craves. She’s affectionate, fun-loving, and eager to bring joy to a family who will appreciate her gentle yet playful nature. Are you ready to give Syrena the forever family she’s been patiently waiting for? Her minimum adoption fee is $195, plus a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents (if 4 months or older). She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. After we review your completed survey we will contact you by phone or email within three business days. We're primarily a volunteer organization, so we appreciate your patience. Please note- Out of respect for our volunteers and staff, we are closed on Sundays and Mondays and will not be processing any applications on that day. Do get back to us right away when we call or email regarding an application so that we can quickly connect using the process below: Select a pet and submit an online adoption survey. A PCH adoption counselor will contact potential adopters within three business days (PCH cannot guarantee any pet's availability, but we make every effort to accommodate adopters with a reply and possible alternative suggestions). Counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and leash to pick up. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the black Pet Central Helps! semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). We will take a "Happy Adoption Day photo with your pet and family. PCH supports a 21-day no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match. If we are not able to provide advice/tools to keep a pet in the home we offer these options: Exchange for a pet that may be a better match** Receive a refund minus a $40 processing fee** With this approach, we can often turn mismatches into opportunities! Story
Meet Levi, a 6-month-old Husky/Doberman mix who’s ready to zoom his way into your heart! Weighing about 40 pounds, this playful pup is a perfect mix of sweet and spunky. Levi loves running around in the yard with his dog pals and snuggling up next to his humans on the couch after a fun day of play. He’s great with kids (especially those who talk to him in baby talk!), and while he adores being carried around and giving "hugs," he’s also a pro at following his people everywhere they go. Levi is fully house-trained and crate trained—he sleeps soundly through the night, keeping his crate spotless. He’s a social butterfly who loves making new friends, both dogs and humans alike. Though not a requirement, he would thrive in a home with another dog and a fenced yard to explore. With a friendly, outgoing, and loyal personality, Levi is the ultimate adventure buddy during the day and the best cuddle bug at night. If you’re looking for a playful pup who’s full of love, Levi is the one for you! His minimum adoption fee is $250 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Meet Lina! This smart and playful 6-month-old, 25-pound Husky/Doberman mix is ready to charm her way into your heart. Give her a few minutes to warm-up and Lina turns into a social butterfly who loves making new friends, whether they’re humans, other dogs, and even cats! She’s fantastic with kids of all ages, including toddlers, and her gentle, affectionate nature shines brightly once she has a moment to settle in. Lina thrives with a canine buddy who can join her in playtime and show her the ropes. A fenced yard is required so she can explore safely and enjoy her zoomies without worry. She’s house-trained, keeps her crate spotless, and is eager to please. The only thing Lina doesn't enjoy is car rides - she gets car sick. Her Husky side brings a love for “chatting,” so she’ll do best in a home without shared walls. Lina is a bundle of fun and energy—she adores toys, fetch, and cozy snuggles with her people. If you’re looking for a friendly, sweet, and playful pup to complete your family, Lina is your girl. She’s ready to give you all the love in the world—are you ready to give her a forever home?
