Story
Weight: 43 lbsHello, my name is Aspen.I am a sweet and friendly lady who loves to meet new people! I sometimes get very excited when playing so I would do best with a variety of toys and puzzles that will help keep my mind occupied (ask the staff, they have great recommendations)! I can become very wiggly, and I sometimes play a little rowdy, so it is recommended that any dogs and children in the home come down to meet me. I can't contain my excitement about meeting my new family, it just fills me with joy knowing that soon I will be curling up next to my forever family on the couch after a perfect day of making new memories. If you are as excited as I am, I would love for you to come down and check me out!Adopt me today!

Story
Stryker(bubby) is 13 years old! He is an amazing dog! He’s been raised around my children(I have five) also in the house with cats and other dogs! He is still very energetic for his age! He loves treats, and walks! He was trained not to get on the furniture, he is potty trained and knows all basic commands! He is a very sweet and loving dog and it breaks my heart to have to part ways with him. The only reason I am rehousing him is because I don’t have the time to care for him properly!

Husky German Shepherd Dog

Good with kids, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
We adopted him at humane society of Whitley county where we immediately fell in love with his goofy attitude. He is a very needy boy and loves attention, and if he does not get it, he is sure to let you know. Doesn't bark very much unless someone is at the door. Very cautious and gentle around children. We would love to keep him, but a job change and long commute hours has made it difficult to get him the exercise and attention he deserves.

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Claire is a 6 year old mixed breed 28.4% Siberian Husky, 22.5% Great Pyrenees, 21.4% Boxer, 15.8% Border Collie, and 11.9% Labrador Retriever according to Embark. We have owned Claire for almost the full 6 years of her life. She is loving, energetic, anxious, and loves to chase rabbits and squirrels. Claire is house trained, crate trained, knows commands such as sit, down, wait, place, shake and does well on leash walks. She can be very timid towards strangers, small children, and new dogs and does not like her nails clipped or people in her personal space. We are looking for a person who has experience with dogs and no small children in the household. Claire enjoys cuddling on the couch and giving kisses (when she wants to), and will bark at the doorbell to warn of strangers. Claire would likely do best with a family with no small children who are able to be active with her. A fenced yard would be beneficial, and a willingness to continue to train and love her.

Story
Hiya! My name`s Aki!Weight 40#If your home is ready to add another member to the family make sure you come in soon to meet me and bring in your dog furry friends to meet me too!I`m a sweet, sensitive boy looking for a best friend! I would need to be in a home with older children or an adult-only home.I love spending time with other dogs, so I would prefer having a playmate already in the home to help me acclimate!I`m stil a puppy so my adopters will be sent home with a training certificate to help with puppyhood! Since I can be a little sensitive, I do need some training on getting more comfortable with the leash, but if you give me love and patience, I know I can be the goodest boy in the whole world! If you`re interested in me, please stop by FWACC and bring any current dogs in your home to say `hi!`Please know that we are only guessing at a predominant breed or breed mix for the dogs in our Adoption Center. Visual breed identification is very unreliable, and we have no way of guaranteeing the breed mix of any dog. Here at our shelter, we get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each dog based on personality, not by breed label. Ask to meet me so you can get to know my personality.
