🐾💙 Meet Faroah! 💙🐾 This handsome 5-month-old Husky boy was born around May 12, 2025, and he’s full of personality and love! He’s had his first set of shots and is already scheduled for his neuter in November. Faroah is playful, affectionate, and always ready to make new friends — both with people and other dogs. He does great with kids and has even seen the cats a few times… they didn’t stick around long, but he didn’t seem too bothered, so with proper introductions, he might do just fine with them too! 😄 Faroah is currently working on his potty training and doing really well. He’s a smart boy and picks things up quickly! Like most Huskies, he’s very vocal — he loves to “talk” and share his opinions with everyone around him. 🎤🐺 You’ll never be bored with this chatterbox in your home! One thing Faroah isn’t a fan of yet is the crate. He’ll let you know exactly how he feels about it with his impressive howls and cries. So we’d say he’s still learning about crate time! 😉 Faroah is full of life, love, and energy — the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a spirited Husky and all the laughter (and singing) that comes with them! ❤️

Meet Charlie, a sweet and sensitive senior Husky looking for a peaceful place to call home. Charlie came to FDHS with her senior buddy Richie, and she is still adjusting to the chaos of shelter life. True to her Husky roots, Charlie is a beautiful singer and can often get the whole shelter joining in her canine chorus.Though timid, Charlie has shown nothing but sweetness toward her caregivers. This busy place is a lot for her, and what she really needs is peace, routine, and someone to love her. After everything she has been through, a cozy bed and gentle reminders that she is a good girl are the least we can give her.We do not know if Charlie has been around children, but we think she would likely prefer a quieter home with older or no children where she can enjoy her golden years. We also do not know if she has been around cats, but her age and gentle nature suggest she would not be aggressive. Meet and greets and home trials are highly recommended to ensure a perfect fit.Charlie is ready for immediate foster or adoption and is looking for someone to share her golden years with.**Spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Hi, I’m Mr. Bear!I came to FDHS pretty recently as a stray, so this whole place is still pretty new and scary for me. I might come across as a more reserved and quit guy, but give me some time to warm up and I let my true personality shine. I have a love for the theatre and have been known to put on quite the show in the kennels with my exceptional singing voice. I like to share my thoughts with grunts, little whines, and a slightly dramatic bark, especially when it is time to eat. Trust me, I take my announcements very seriously.Even though I have a shy side, I am actually a big softie and cuddlebug. I love cozying up for snuggles and soaking up all the attention I can get. I still think I'd do best in a calm home without little kids running around or too much daily chaos. I am curious about other dogs and would probably enjoy a calm, friendly buddy to share my space with. Cats? I have not met any yet, so I am keeping an open mind.I am looking for a family who will let me come out of my shell at my own pace and give me lots of love.
