Story
Sapphire is a gorgeous new face here at FDHS! This stunning Husky was found running loose in the cold for several days before finally being brought to safety. After warming up and enjoying a full belly, her personality is starting to shine through and we’re loving what we see so far.Sapphire LOVES to sing and has just a touch of Husky drama. She walks beautifully on leash and keeps her kennel super clean throughout the day. She will need to be closely supervised and always taken outside on leash, as she can clear a six-foot fence with ease. Because of this, Sapphire is looking for a loving, active home that’s ready to keep both her body and brain busy with regular walks, runs, and enrichment. She’s shown curiosity about making dog friends, but we’re still learning how she feels about cats and other small animals. All that gorgeous white Husky floof does come with a price, lots of hair! Sapphire will need daily brushing and routine grooming to keep her coat healthy and looking its best.Though she can be a little timid at first, Sapphire has been incredibly sweet with our staff and volunteers. If you’re interested in giving this beautiful girl a loving home, please submit an adoption application.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.adoption fee $400.00 Buster is a lovable Husky mix pup who is all about the snuggles. This sweet boy is eager to please and is working hard on mastering his potty manners. He enjoys romping around with the other dogs in his foster home, but his absolute favorite place to be is curled up in a warm lap for a cozy nap. Buster is learning about feline friends -- with careful guidance, we think he will be just fine. Buster has that classic big&#226&#128&#145puppy energy mixed with a soft, gentle heart. He’s playful, affectionate, and delightfully goofy — the kind of pup who will wiggle his way right into your life and your heart. One important thing to know: Buster is likely to grow into a big dog! That just means more fluff, more warmth, and more love to go around. Please keep his future size in mind when considering him for your family. If you’re looking for a snuggly, joyful companion who can grow up with you, Buster might just be your perfect match. He can’t wait to find a forever home where he’ll be cherished for the wonderful pup he is.*The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.adoption fee $400.00 Beatrice is a young Husky mix pup overflowing with sweetness, smarts, and cuteness. She’s the kind of girl who adores people, melts into your lap for snuggles, and lights up the room with her gentle spirit. This lovely lady is still growing and will likely reach 60+ pounds, so her future family should be prepared for a larger companion—one who will fill your home (and your heart!) with joy. What Beatrice Loves: Playing with toys of all kinds Making new furry friends — she would thrive with another playful pup in the home Snuggling on laps (her absolute favorite place!) Being told what a good girl she is Her Progress: Beatrice is learning her potty manners quickly and is doing well with crate training. She sleeps comfortably in her crate at night—though she’ll happily trade it for a warm lap if offered! Her Personality: Kind, gentle, affectionate, and eager to please. She has a soft disposition and a playful, curious nature that makes her the sweetest addition to any loving family. New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure.
