Story
Hi, I'm Nyx and I'm the sweetest girl. I came into the shelter as a stray so not much is known about my past. The staff says I love walks and to play. I have lots of energy so I would love a home with lots to do and a big yard. I may be a lot for young kids, although I'm really nice I have so much energy I may knock over small children. Take me on a walk and I'm sure you will fall in love with my loving personality!Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!

Story
💙Meet Denver💙Sweet Denver is back with us due to unforeseen circumstances, and this big snow-loving goofball is hoping his true forever family is out there. ❄️Denver is 2 years old, and he originally came to us in 2024. We learned pretty quickly that he prefers to be the only pet in the home, and he’s a bit too energetic for kiddos under 12. After waiting 184 days, he finally found his perfect person… but tragically, his owner passed away. Denver tried living with the family, but with another dog in the home, it just wasn’t the right fit.But here’s the part we really want you to know:Denver is one of the goofiest, sweetest, and most well-behaved dogs you’ll ever meet. He walks great on a leash, knows how to sit, and absolutely lights up when he sees snow. He’s smart, loyal, and happiest when he’s outside exploring or playing. He’s the kind of dog who will make you laugh every single day with his silly personality.Denver doesn’t need much — just a home where he can be the center of attention, soak up love, and enjoy life with his person by his side. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy or a best friend who will keep you smiling, Denver might just be your guy. 🐾💛

TundraHusky2 yrs old57 poundsI came to the shelter as a stray.I like to play with other dogs, and I especially like to play with toys. The squeaky toys are the best!I have a beautiful white husky coat and some amazing ears to go with it.I am learning to walk on a loose leash but still need some time to perfect.I also enjoy jogging alongside a bike. I get to burn lots of energy that way.I would benefit from an active household. To be my best self.

Story
Meet Rio!Age: 8 yearsBreed: HuskyWeight: 49 lbsStatus: Heartworm-free and ready for a forever home!Rio came to us as a stray, underweight and heartworm positive — but look at him now! After completing his heartworm treatment and packing on some healthy pounds, this handsome guy is looking and feeling so much better. He still has a sensitive tummy, so he’ll need to stay on his special i/d diet to keep him feeling his best.Rio is a gentle, laid-back soul who enjoys the company of other calm dogs. He’s not a fan of cats (he thinks they’re fun to chase!), so a feline-free home would be best for him. He absolutely loves going on walks and hikes and would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys the outdoors but doesn’t need a high-energy dog.I would do best in a home with older kids. The younger kids make me nervous. If you`re looking for a loyal, mellow buddy who’s been through a lot and is ready to enjoy the good life, Rio might just be your perfect match. Come meet this sweet guy and see for yourself why we all adore him!

Story
🐾👑 Meet Princess! 👑🐾 Princess is a 1.5-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix with a sweet heart and a gentle soul who’s ready for a fresh start. 💙 This friendly girl does great with kids and submissive dogs, walks nicely on a leash, and is doing wonderfully with her house manners. Her previous owner stated she was partly house trained, and we’re happy to report that she’s doing great here — as long as she’s let out at least 3 times a day, she has no accidents. 🙌 💔 Princess was surrendered after being left behind in a rental, through no fault of her own. Despite that rough start, she’s remained loving, trusting, and eager to please. ✨ About Princess: • Age: 1.5 years • Breed: Shepherd/Husky mix • Good with kids: Yes • Good with dogs: Yes (submissive dogs preferred) • Leash manners: Good • House training: Doing great with regular potty breaks ✅ Princess is fully vetted: • Spayed • Up to date on vaccines • Microchipped • Dewormed & flea treated • Heartworm tested (negative) 💰 Adoption Fee: $190 📍 Marion Animal Care & Control 📞 765-668-4491 📍 1021 E State Rd 18, Marion, IN Princess is ready to leave her past behind and step into a forever home where she’ll never be left again. 🏡💖 Come meet her and see if she’s your perfect match. #Princess #RescueDog #ForeverHome #ShepherdHuskyMix #MACC #CityOfMarion #adoptme
