Story
Slate was born on 6/25/2023 and is a Siberian Husky. He is current on immunizations, heartworm, and flea control. He will go into his crate well, especially for bed time. He needs to be crated when alone, or at night for bed time. I use positive training methods with him, and he is treat motivated. He is a little shy with new people until he gets to know you. He walks best with a harness, although he does wear a collar. The harness is less traumatic to build his confidence. It would be beneficial for him to have another canine friend. He has been easy to correct, and enjoys belly rubs. He has done well with my 8yr. old female siberian. I do not recommend a home with cats, small animals, or young children. I do prefer that any potential owner have knowledge/experience with the breed. He is not neutered yet, but that is on the agenda. Slate sleeps out of his crate now. He lays his head on me, or touches my face to wake me up to be let out.

Story
Hey there, I'm Loki, and I'm here to share a little bit about myself in hopes of finding my forever home. You see, I've had some experiences in the past that have shaped who I am today. In my previous home, I was crate trained, but I must admit, being confined to a crate stresses me out quite a bit. I tend to get separation anxiety, and I'll do whatever it takes to get out of that crate - whether it's chewing, pawing, or howling. So, I'm looking for an adopter who understands my needs and is willing to work with me on my separation anxiety. I'm a loyal and affectionate companion who will become very attached to my owner, so I promise to shower you with love and devotion every day. I'm also a fan of staying active - going for walks, playing fetch, you name it! But here's the thing - I'm not a fan of cats. Nope, not one bit. So, I need to find a home where I can be the only furry friend. Apartments also aren't the best fit for me because of my tendency to howl when I'm feeling anxious. Overall, I'm just a sweet pup looking for a loving home where I can feel safe and secure. If you're willing to open your heart to a dog like me and provide me with the patience and understanding I need, then I'm ready to be your loyal companion for life. Let's embark on this journey together - I promise, you won't regret it!

Story
Hi there! I'm Koda, a one-year-old Husky with a whole lot of energy and love to share. My previous family didn't have enough time for me, which is why I'm looking for a new home that can keep up with my active lifestyle. I'm a big fan of rubber balls and can play with them for hours. However, if I don't have plenty to do, I can become a bit of a chewer, so keeping me entertained is key! I'm pretty calm during bath time, which I hear is a great trait for a Husky like me. Car rides are another favorite of mine, and I get quite active when we're on the move. Now, I have a bit of a reputation as an escape artist. I've managed to run away three times and even broke a back window trying to get inside. It's just that I love being with my people so much that I'll do whatever it takes to be close to them. I've been known to jump through windows, so it's important that I'm not left alone outside. I really want to be your constant companion and shadow. I'm an active boy who would thrive in a household that can match my energy levels and give me lots of attention and enrichment. I do well in a crate, which helps keep me safe and out of trouble when you're not around. I'm also treat-motivated and love to learn new tricks-I've already mastered "shake"! I get along well with other dogs, which means I could fit nicely into a home with canine siblings. However, I'm not a fan of cats, so a cat-free home would be best for me. I love to sit on laps and soak up all the love and affection you can give. When I go out for walks, I'm full of energy and excitement. I sometimes pull on the leash, but with some consistent training and positive reinforcement, I'm sure we can work on that together. I'm very friendly and enjoy meeting new people and dogs along the way. If you're looking for a loyal, active, and loving companion who will always want to be by your side, then I might just be the perfect match for you. Let's meet and see if we can start our next adventure together!
