I am around 6 years old and know all of my basic commands including, sit, lay down, and off. I would love to find a family with another dog and a fenced in yard. Please no children because I am still working on my manners, including how to greet young people and strangers appropriately. I am looking for an experienced dog owner, someone who is a strong handler and is looking for a lifelong companion that is smart and will be their #1 sidekick. I cannot wait to find my forever home!   Broly's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives PLUS an obedience course at Cedar Run in Hiawatha.  Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives.  Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a home visit and a vet check.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 11:31 am

Marcella is a three year old Husky Shepherd mix with bright, intelligent eyes (one blue and one brown/blue), high energy, curiosity, and heart. She is a goofy and charming dog who can be a cuddlebug. I am listing her for my parents (ages 86 and 78). They love her dearly, but due to health and injuries are unable to walk her or provide the active play and stimulation she needs. She thrives on movement; running, tug-of-war, and learning new tricks. This girl is built for adventure! She would flourish in a home with a family that enjoys being outside, staying active, and including their dog in daily fun. She isn’t being surrendered due to a lack of love; just a mismatch in lifestyle. Come and meet her or we could drive her to you within 5-6 hours of home.

Nova is a female Husky mixed doggy who is about 6 years old. Nova is good with dogs, but unsure of cats. One thing to note, she is an escape artist. She is described as a 'Goofball'. I’m a fun-loving, happy-all-the-time, glass-is-half-full kind of dog looking for someone who loves to laugh and play around. Must have a great sense of humor and some time to spend with me. I’m a dog on a mission to please you. (Socially motivated). It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction. All our animals have been spayed/neutered (or will be arranged if currently too young). Dogs will be tested for heart worms, vaccinated against distemper/parvo and rabies. Cats will be vaccinated against feline distemper and feline parvo, and have been wormed. All animals will be bathed and treated for fleas/ear mites. Microchipping will take place at the time of adoption. Adoption fees: Cats - $105 for one or only $150 for two!
