Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! I am an energetic working boy who is looking for a home to call my own! I am around 6 years old and know all of my basic commands including, sit, lay down, and off. I would love to find a family with another dog and a fenced in yard. Please no children because I am still working on my manners, including how to greet young people and strangers appropriately. I am looking for an experienced dog owner, someone who is a strong handler and is looking for a lifelong companion that is smart and will be their #1 sidekick. I cannot wait to find my forever home!   Broly's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives PLUS an obedience course at Cedar Run in Hiawatha.  Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives.  Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a home visit and a vet check.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 3, 2024, 5:21 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bleu is a very handsome Siberian Husky mix, he is fully house trained and has not had a single accident in his foster home. He knows several commands and is very obedient, he is also kennel trained although he does not necessarily require one. Blue loves to be near his people, and the perfect home would be one with someone he could hang out with all day, or go to work with. He'll just nap the hours away at your feet! Bleu's up for adventure, but is also cool with just chilling at home with you. A fenced yard is preferred for his husky curiosity, as good smells can carry him away! Bleu is great with other dogs, but we are not sure about how he is with young children as he has never met them. For this reason, we are asking for a home with older children or no children please. Bleu would probably be okay with a dog-savvy cat who can stand their ground, not one that would run away because he will likely chase them. Bleu's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives, plus a free basic obedience course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives for consideration. Please submit an adoption application at Adopthope.org if you’d like to meet Bleu!    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 3, 2024, 5:21 pm

Story
Take one look at Hodge, and you're in love, right? His EYES, his ears, and his amazingly soft, fluffy coat! (though you can't tell, he had just gotten inside from romping around in the rain, LOVING it)! Hodge is such a sweet boy, who naturally has the most amazing disposition. He is gentle, a cuddle bug, and also quite the smart little dude! At only 3 months old, and 15 pounds, Hodge has got his basics down with the lure of a treat, and is always eager to show it off! He's also crate-trained, and LOVES everyone and everything. Always greeting everyone by looking up at them, with a shimmy butt, and quick wags of the tail! We'd say Hodge is that perfect 50/50 combo of playful, brilliant puppy, and cuddle bug couch potato type of guy! He loves having something to do, but if not, he is absolutely content with dozing off, especially giving him belly rubs. I can be adopted with a spay/neuter agreement! The refundable fee of $100 is INCLUDED in my $410 adoption fee! This fee covers my spay/neuter surgery (at the Monticello Vet Clinic), my vaccines: Bordetella, DA2PP, Rabies! & my heartworm test + preventatives! The $100 deposit is returned once proof of sterilization is furnished!
