Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! I am an energetic working boy who is looking for a home to call my own! I am around 6 years old and know all of my basic commands including, sit, lay down, and off. I would love to find a family with another dog and a fenced in yard. Please no children because I am still working on my manners, including how to greet young people and strangers appropriately. I am looking for an experienced dog owner, someone who is a strong handler and is looking for a lifelong companion that is smart and will be their #1 sidekick. I cannot wait to find my forever home!   Broly's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives PLUS an obedience course at Cedar Run in Hiawatha.  Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives.  Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a home visit and a vet check.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 11:31 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Sonic!   Just like his name suggests, Sonic is always ready for his next adventure! This handsome 1 to 2-year-old neutered Husky mix turns heads everywhere he goes with his striking mismatched eyes - one blue and one brown, and his playful, energetic personality. Sonic is looking for an active home that understands the unique needs of northern breeds. He's smart, athletic, and full of enthusiasm, making him a great companion for someone who enjoys hiking, running, exploring, or simply keeping up with an energetic best friend. Because Huskies are known for their intelligence, independence, and drive, Sonic will do best with adopters who have previous breed experience and are committed to providing plenty of physical exercise, mental enrichment, and continued training. If you're looking for a loyal adventure buddy with a big personality, stunning looks, and endless potential, Sonic might just be your perfect match. Come meet this blue-eyed (and brown-eyed!) boy, you'll quickly see why everyone falls in love with him. Sonic’s adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip and current vaccines/heartworm testing and monthly preventatives. Also included in the adoption is a free basic training course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. If you would like to meet Sonic, please submit an application through our website Adopthope.org. Sonic is seeking a home as an indoor companion with no cats. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit. We require adopters to have a history of keeping indoor pets only, who were alerted and kept current on annual vaccines and exams. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 8, 2026, 7:13 pm

Story
Jethro is a fun-loving, goofy boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This happy pup is always ready for the next adventure, whether that means a game of fetch, carrying his favorite toy around proudly, or bouncing around with excitement to greet his people. He’s playful, affectionate, social, and full of life, making him the kind of dog who brings energy and laughter wherever he goes. Jethro absolutely loves being around people and thrives on companionship. He’s confident, friendly, and gentle, with a cuddly side that enjoys curling up close after playtime is over. He gets along well with other dogs, has done well with kids ages 7 and older, and would likely fit into many different types of active homes. He also keeps his kennel clean and walks nicely on a leash. This energetic boy enjoys stuffies, squeaky toys, tug games, and just about anything that keeps him engaged and having fun. Like many excited young dogs, Jethro can sometimes forget his manners or get a little mouthy when he’s overly excited, but it comes from enthusiasm and playfulness rather than anything negative. With continued structure, exercise, and positive guidance, he’ll continue growing into an amazing companion. With his long legs, unique coat, and constant big tail wags, Jethro is impossible not to adore. He would thrive in a home that can keep up with his playful spirit while also giving him plenty of love and attention. If you’re looking for a sweet, adventurous best friend who can make you laugh one minute and cuddle up beside you the next, Jethro may be the perfect fit.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Tilly! ❤️ Tilly is a beautiful Lab, Shepherd, and Husky mix who came to us as an owner surrender after her previous family was no longer able to care for her. While her world has changed quite a bit, this sweet girl is slowly learning that new experiences can be exciting. Tilly had very little socialization before arriving at the shelter and had never even been on a leash, so she's discovering many "firsts" with us every day. She can be shy and nervous when faced with unfamiliar situations, but once she begins to trust you, her gentle, affectionate personality shines through. She loves being close to her people and has so much love to give. Tilly is looking for a patient family that will continue helping her build confidence through positive reinforcement and gentle guidance. She does have a strong prey drive and is not a good fit for a home with chickens, ducks, or other small livestock. She has also tested positive for Lyme disease, which is a tick-borne illness. The good news is that many dogs with Lyme disease go on to live happy, normal lives with appropriate veterinary care and monitoring. Some dogs never develop symptoms, while others may occasionally experience joint soreness or fatigue, making routine checkups and following your veterinarian's recommendations important. We are still getting to know Tilly and will continue to update her profile as we learn more. If you're looking for a loyal companion and have the patience to help a deserving dog learn what it means to be part of a loving family, Tilly may be the perfect match. She has already come so far, and with the right home, her best days are still ahead.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 10, 2026, 12:49 am
