Story
Q-Tip has all the characteristics of a husky and shepherd combined so he loves to talk and he will always tell you exactly what he wants. His favorite activities are going for long walks/runs, laying outside year around, especially in the snow, he loves the cold, and singing to police sirens, trains and car horns. Q-Tip suffers from severe separation anxiety so he cannot be left completely alone, which is why he needs a home with other dogs around him. If he is with other dogs, he is at peace. Also due to anxiety, Q-Tip cannot be restrained in a kennel and left alone, he loves to be free. He does fine on a long tie out and would love a fenced in yard so he can run around. If he is with other dogs while alone, he is an angel and will usually just sleep. Tippy is a very intelligent young boy. He knows how to sit, lay down, shake, boop hands. He doesn’t play with toys but that could change if he’s around other dogs. He likes to copy others. He is not very affectionate and doesn’t

Story
Please welcome Bella Donna to rescue!  She is a beautfiul Husky, born 2017, and she has a super SWEET disposition.  She does wheelies when she's happy and has the most beautfiul smile.  She is great with dogs and cats.  Bella Donna takes treats nice, walks great on a leash and LOVES everyone she comes into contact with. She is a little overweight, so Bella Donna's new person will need to be able to help her follow a diet and give her regular exercise.  We'll share updates and more information about Bella Donna as we learn more about her.  Please consider giving this girl a home!! The suggested adoption donation for Bella Donna is $300, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training).  Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.
