Story
This gorgeous girl is so lucky to be alive! We were driving down a busy four lane highway when we spotted her run across the highway barely missing getting run down by a large box truck. She ran into the parking lot of a Dollar General so we immediately pulled into the parking lot and luckily she ran up to our van and jumped right in! We tried and tried to find her owner but to no avail. It's hard to see in the pics but she has one blue eye and one golden eye. We suspect she had a little Husky in her but we did a DNA anyway, lots and lots of breeds in her DNA, including 5% Chihuahua! She's a super mutt! Clarice is spayed, fully vaccinated, crate trained and microchipped. She is available for immediate transport PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $600

Story
Parker Blue is a very good looking 3 years old Husky/Shepherd mix boy who is approximately 65 pounds and a fun dog to have in your life.  His owner recently died and sadly no one in the family wanted him and now they want him either gone or they will shoot him.  True fact.  He’s very friendly, walks on a lead, good with other dogs, but no cats, birds or rabbits, etc.  Parker Blue has never been around kids under 12 yrs old but was good with the older ones.  This poor boy was shown lots of attention and loved by his person who passed away.  Now he is outside and he used to live inside.  The family is impatient and truly will do harm in a permanent way if he is not gone soon. We can tell his feelings are hurt and he doesn’t understand why he’s on a tie-out and can no longer go in his home or see his dad. How awful that is.  We are pleading for Parker Blue to have a chance to love you and your family.  Critter Cavalry Rescue would greatly appreciate assistance with Parker Blue. Time is running out and he needs to find a temporary foster home or a forever home.   Can you help bring this boy to a safe place?  Please contact  ccrnewengland@gmail.com  if you can assist PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 3, 2024, 9:46 pm

Story
If you are looking for a very calm and beautiful dog, then Autumn is truly one to seriously consider for your lifestyle and family.  This girl is a Husky mix with the wonderful attributes of both Husky and a Lab it seems.  She is a young 2-3 year old  girl that is only 50 pounds and full of sweetness and an easy going personality.  This girl is in a small town, small shelter that has kennels that are 4X6” if that big.  She should be out of an environment like that, enjoying the freedom to roam a backyard or dog park and to be someone’s serious sidekick full of love and adoration for their owner.  This girl is a true treasure.  Can you consider helping at least get her out of the shelter?  If you want to foster to adopt then Critter Cavalry Rescue can support that as well.  We will have her fully vetted and ready for a new start in a foster or a forever home.  Friendly with all other dogs and adoring of people, this girl is not shy nor emotionally damaged.  Just abandoned sadly and found as a stray.  She doesn’t deserve to stay for months on end at this shelter.  Help Autumn get out of a shelter hell.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  and please mention where you live when inquiring. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 3, 2024, 9:46 pm

Story
Meet Echo, a beautiful soul who defines the definition of a survivor. At 4 years old, she is now ready for a family of her very own who will shower her with utmost kindness and love. Echo arrived at the shelter very underweight, her fur was stained yellow, and she was too frightened to walk into the building and had to be carried in. We soon discovered she was pregnant. After receiving necessary medical treatment and a warm bath, Echo was placed into a foster home where she gave birth to six puppies. Echo's puppies were all adopted and she finally gained enough weight to be spayed. As time passed, Echo became less fearful and learned the joys of companionship, walks, car rides, playtime with her foster humans and the outdoors. While she may take a little time to warm up initially, Echo transforms into a loving, affectionate companion and is worth every patient moment. Echo has enjoyed the company of other dogs but will need to meet any potential canine siblings to ensure compatibility. Her history with cats is unknown. She would do best with older children in the home who respect the time she will need to feel safe. If you're ready to open your heart to a new family member, Echo is waiting for you! Please note, Echo is available to be seen by appointment only, as she is foster care.

Story
Myster and Black dog are a bonded pair. Mystery prefers the company of other dogs although she does love her balls when we throw them! Black dog is the definition of lazy. His idea of exercise is moving from the bed to his food bowl. We'd prefer them to be the only dogs in the home just because they share such a strong bond!
