Story
Meet Cubby – Your Adventure Buddy and Best Friend! Breed: Husky Mix | Age: 2.5 years | Weight: 50 lbs Cubby is a stunning Husky mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. After being rescued from an overcrowded backyard situation, this sweet boy has blossomed in foster care and is now ready to find his forever family.   Cubby has discovered the joys of life—walks, playtime, snuggles, and, most of all, people! He’s affectionate, smart, and always seems to be trying to understand everything around him with those expressive eyes. He’s especially great with children and loves being part of a family.   An energetic and athletic pup, Cubby thrives on adventure. He loves long walks, hiking, backpacking, playing fetch, running beside a bike, and splashing in the water. If you lead an active lifestyle, Cubby might just be your perfect match. And when the day is done? He’s happy to chill on his dog bed, content just being near his people.   Cubby currently lives with two other dogs and absolutely loves playing with them. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and another dog buddy—or as your one-and-only if he gets plenty of exercise and enrichment.   Cubby is not just a dog—he’s a loyal companion, hiking partner, and forever friend who will bring joy, laughter, and love to your life. All he needs is a family who will give him the active, loving home he deserves.    Fostered in Tennessee   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Meet Whisper — the sweetest, smartest little pup you’ll ever meet!   This impressive Huskey mix girl is 14 weeks and 15 pounds currently, with an adult destination, estimated weight to be 40 pounds. This vibrant pupster loves everyone (dogs, cats, people… all of them) and is already learning so many commands. She knows sit, off, come, “uppy,” and even goes potty on command. This Whisper girl pup is truly brilliant. She’s playful, cuddly, sleeps well through the night for her age, and can keep up with the big dogs like a champ. She’s still teething, so tiny kiddos may want to give her a little space for now.  Housebreaking is almost 100% as well.   Just a little more time, and she will be the total package of house broken. Whisper is going to make an incredible family companion. Someone is going to be VERY lucky to call her theirs. If you are interested in adopting this sweet puppy, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.     This girl is a GEM!            PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 1, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Meet Lil Bit!! What we see is that Little Bit is an easy going girl that has melted right in to the background of the homelife of women who work from home and have 2 small dogs of their own.  She is respectful of them and is enjoying laying outside and enjoying the beautiful weather and the soft dog bed that has been offered to her.  She is crate trained and just fine.  She would love to play with the small dogs but they have refused her playful offerings.  As cute as she is, they are not interested.  The family we would love to adopt Little Bit is one that has a fenced yard and someone not gone 9 hours a day.  Shorter time gone is fine or even a work from home situation would be perfection.  She is housebroken apparently and she know how to cross her legs like a Southern Lady!   Some added weight might be good for this girl and a 55 pound healthy weight would be ideal for her.  She is a beauty.   A Husky/Shepherd mix is definitely the consensus of her breed.  She is currently 48 pounds and stunning in every way.  Please consider making this girl's Cinderella Story come true NOW!!!   Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com        PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 1, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Rocky (approximately 52 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. He is a beautiful blue-eyed Husky mix boy who was born with a limb difference to his left front leg, which does not slow him down one bit. Using his Husky tenacity and a zest for life that is all Rocky, this fellow loves to play with other dogs of all sizes, and he features a soft and bouncy play style that works well for other dogs who enjoy friendly, goofy play. When it comes to people, Rocky is always happy to make new friends, and he is a Velcro dog with his humans, choosing to be close to them whenever possible and snuggling his humans whenever he is given the chance. Rocky adores the Great Outdoors, a typical Husky trait, and he cannot wait to be a New England boy who gets to experience snow for the first time. Rocky's foster parents mention that he can get a bit mouthy when bored (another Husky trait) but that he is easily redirected. He walks well on leash and we have found that it's easier for him if you walk on his left side. He also has a cute habit of laying down to drink water, and he LOVES toys. If you're looking for a loyal buddy with a bright future and a big heart, Rocky might just be your guy - come meet him today! If you'd like to meet Rocky and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
