Story
Meet Cubby – Your Adventure Buddy and Best Friend! Breed: Husky Mix | Age: 2.5 years | Weight: 50 lbs Cubby is a stunning Husky mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. After being rescued from an overcrowded backyard situation, this sweet boy has blossomed in foster care and is now ready to find his forever family.   Cubby has discovered the joys of life—walks, playtime, snuggles, and, most of all, people! He’s affectionate, smart, and always seems to be trying to understand everything around him with those expressive eyes. He’s especially great with children and loves being part of a family.   An energetic and athletic pup, Cubby thrives on adventure. He loves long walks, hiking, backpacking, playing fetch, running beside a bike, and splashing in the water. If you lead an active lifestyle, Cubby might just be your perfect match. And when the day is done? He’s happy to chill on his dog bed, content just being near his people.   Cubby currently lives with two other dogs and absolutely loves playing with them. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and another dog buddy—or as your one-and-only if he gets plenty of exercise and enrichment.   Cubby is not just a dog—he’s a loyal companion, hiking partner, and forever friend who will bring joy, laughter, and love to your life. All he needs is a family who will give him the active, loving home he deserves.    Fostered in Tennessee   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 7, 2026, 12:24 pm

Story
Meet Lil Bit!! What we see is that Little Bit is an easy going girl that has melted right in to the background of the homelife of women who work from home and have 2 small dogs of their own.  She is respectful of them and is enjoying laying outside and enjoying the beautiful weather and the soft dog bed that has been offered to her.  She is crate trained and just fine.  She would love to play with the small dogs but they have refused her playful offerings.  As cute as she is, they are not interested.  The family we would love to adopt Little Bit is one that has a fenced yard and someone not gone 9 hours a day.  Shorter time gone is fine or even a work from home situation would be perfection.  She is housebroken apparently and she know how to cross her legs like a Southern Lady!   Some added weight might be good for this girl and a 55 pound healthy weight would be ideal for her.  She is a beauty.   A Husky/Shepherd mix is definitely the consensus of her breed.  She is currently 48 pounds and stunning in every way.  Please consider making this girl's Cinderella Story come true NOW!!!   Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com        PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 24, 2026, 11:33 am

Story
This is Max! Max is a hyper, protective, and happy young dog. While around our small children, he is very excited, yet gentle. Max is a sweetie who does need a ton of fun, love, and room to roam. Max enjoys digging holes, playing fetch, and being social. When left alone in the house, Max has chewed a couple toys in the past, but has calmed down. With young children, it has become difficult to tend to Max’s need for attention. Max does not usually bark, unless he sees activity near his area (bird, squirrel, etc). Adopt this lovable boy!

Story
Some names just fit, and Atlas is one of them. Just like the mighty Titan who carried the world, Atlas has a larger-than-life presence that’s impossible to ignore. At only 5 months old (born 1/11/26) and already 38 pounds, this handsome boy is destined to grow into a stunning, powerful companion—likely reaching 75 pounds or more as an adult.  Atlas inherited his gorgeous looks from his purebred Australian Shepherd mom, and we suspect his dad was a Husky or Malamute, giving him his striking appearance, sturdy build, and those adorably oversized paws. Everywhere he goes, people stop to admire him. But Atlas isn’t just a handsome face—he has an equally wonderful personality. He’s a happy, playful puppy who loves every dog he meets, regardless of size or age. He’s also great with cats and absolutely adores children, making him an excellent candidate for an active family looking for a loyal best friend. Like any growing puppy, Atlas has a big appetite, an even bigger zest for life, and an eagerness to learn. He loves treats, making training both fun and rewarding, and his foster family says he’s always eager to please. With continued guidance, he’ll grow into an incredible lifelong companion. Because Atlas will be a large, energetic dog, we’re looking for a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely run, play, and stretch those long legs. Atlas is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and ready for his forever family. All that’s missing is someone to love him as much as he’ll love them in return. Could that be you? Atlas is waiting in Tennessee, packed and ready to hop aboard the transport van heading north to meet the family he’s been dreaming of. If you’d like to give this extraordinary boy the home he deserves, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at  ccrnewengland@gmail.com for more information. Big dog. Big heart. Big future. Atlas is ready to make your world complete.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 24, 2026, 11:33 am

Story
Maybel — short for Maybelline — is a stunning 10-month-old girl with the most striking blue eyes that look like she’s wearing perfect eyeliner all the time. At around 50 pounds, she’s the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and sweet, affectionate companionship. She’s incredibly smart, eager to learn, and already doing wonderfully with potty training and leash training. Maybel is great with other dogs and has such a loving, gentle personality once she feels safe and comfortable. Like many rescue dogs, she can be a little hesitant around men at first, but with patience and kindness she quickly begins to open up and show her sweet, goofy side. Maybel is looking for a family that will continue helping her build confidence and show her that the world can be a safe, loving place. In return, she’ll give endless loyalty, cuddles, and those unforgettable blue-eyed stares.
