Story
This gorgeous girl is so lucky to be alive! We were driving down a busy four lane highway when we spotted her run across the highway barely missing getting run down by a large box truck. She ran into the parking lot of a Dollar General so we immediately pulled into the parking lot and luckily she ran up to our van and jumped right in! We tried and tried to find her owner but to no avail. It's hard to see in the pics but she has one blue eye and one golden eye. We suspect she had a little Husky in her but we did a DNA anyway, lots and lots of breeds in her DNA, including 5% Chihuahua! She's a super mutt! Clarice is spayed, fully vaccinated, crate trained and microchipped. She is available for immediate transport PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $600

Story
Danica is a gorgeous Husky/Aussie mix girl with the wonderful blue eyes and riveting beauty that touches everyone’s soul when they meet her.  She landed in a small town Kentucky shelter that has a euthanization rate and we feared for her life.  Found at a Pizza place on a busy highway her owner was contacted and he opted not to come pick her up so off to the shelter she went.  She was fortunately pulled from the shelter and now has the most wonderful opportunity to gain the perfect  home and family that Critter Cavalry Rescue has promised to find. This is young 1-2 year old girl that weighs about 45 pounds and is a perfect medium size.  She is fabulous with people and seems to do well with other dogs.  We have not cat tested her.  She is housebroken, learning the leash so 50/50 in that category of being good.  She is smart as a whip and eager to learn and be taught things.  She is a true beauty that would make any family or person proud to call their own.  If you are interested, please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 27, 2024, 1:06 pm

Story
Meet Snow! This handsome man loves many things! From long walks to pulling in a harness, Snow is your typical husky! Full of charm and energy. When he's outside, he's a completely different dog. He's confident, strong on leash, and LOVES playing in these April snowstorms! When he's inside he's a bit different. He's nervous of new people and is slow to warm up; he's unsure in new environments and will need a patient person to work with him. Here is some information from his previous owner:"Snow is a very sweet and friendly dog. He CAN BE shy and reserved at first. He LOVES female dogs and does well with neutral males; although he is not one to start problems with other dogs, he doesn't back down either. Snow will also jump fences and dig under, so he must be outside with a leash or a chain and under supervision. Snow also has a very high prey drive."Due to Snows high prey drive (Which we have seen here!) he's looking for a home WITHOUT small animals (Including chickens and cats) but he is willing to meet other dogs! As for children, due to his nervousness of new people, Snow is looking for a home with kids over the age of 16.Interested in meeting snow? Swing on down to KVHS during available adoption hours with the whole family (Including future dog siblings!)

Story
Myster and Black dog are a bonded pair. Mystery prefers the company of other dogs although she does love her balls when we throw them! Black dog is the definition of lazy. His idea of exercise is moving from the bed to his food bowl. We'd prefer them to be the only dogs in the home just because they share such a strong bond!

Story
THE ADORABLE TOMAS IS LOOKING FOR A HOME! HOUSEBROKEN CRATE TRAINED LOVES PEOPLE OMG He is the cutest little pup! ❤🐶🐹 We rescued Tomas from the Moreno Valley Shelter in CA a few months ago when he was euth listed! This super friendly and super sweet boy is only about a year and a half old. He is still a puppy and in constant motion! Tomas is a great size, small and compact and about 55 lbs. He's built like a little Bernese Mountain Dog! Tomas was in foster for a few weeks so he learned some manners and we learned more about HIM! Tomas loves to play with other dogs. He's one of our dog testers. He was kennelled with other dogs at the shelter with no issues. In his foster home, he did very well with the other dog for the most part, but over time he did become jealous over the foster folks, so if his adoptive home has another dog, this is behavior that would need to be worked with. (We will provide a private lesson with our trainer for tips!) For the most part Tomas is playful with another dog, and he CAN go to the dogpark with no issues. No kitties for Tomas! Tomas is now crate trained and housebroken. He will need a little leash training but he is pretty good, really. We think he would be fine with kids. He is very food motivated and sits beautifully for a treat. He is so happy that when he is sitting he taps his back feet in the funniest way. He's always smiling and mostly wants to give kisses. He will make a super family companion - he will want an active home! If you are a loving home and would like to open your home and heart to one of our dogs, please fill out our online application to get the approval process started.
