Story
Meet Whisper — the sweetest, smartest little pup you’ll ever meet!   This impressive Huskey mix girl is 14 weeks and 15 pounds currently, with an adult destination, estimated weight to be 40 pounds. This vibrant pupster loves everyone (dogs, cats, people… all of them) and is already learning so many commands. She knows sit, off, come, “uppy,” and even goes potty on command. This Whisper girl pup is truly brilliant. She’s playful, cuddly, sleeps well through the night for her age, and can keep up with the big dogs like a champ. She’s still teething, so tiny kiddos may want to give her a little space for now.  Housebreaking is almost 100% as well.   Just a little more time, and she will be the total package of house broken. Whisper is going to make an incredible family companion. Someone is going to be VERY lucky to call her theirs. If you are interested in adopting this sweet puppy, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.     This girl is a GEM!            PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 7, 2026, 5:13 pm

Story
Swiper is 8 years old, we adopted him approximately 2 years ago from the Androscoggin humane society in Lewiston when my son was 6 months old. He did AMAZING with my son, protected him, would walk away if he ever got irritated with the baby. But then I had my daughter, and he started getting jealous. He doesn't hurt the kids, but he urinates in the house because he isn't getting enough attention anymore. He is a good dog, loyal, loves to play, good with cats, always down to snuggle. He gets along with other dogs as long as he's outside, when he's inside with another dog, he follows them around and won't let them near food or water, and will show his teeth to them.

Story
Meet Lil Bit!! What we see is that Little Bit is an easy going girl that has melted right in to the background of the homelife of women who work from home and have 2 small dogs of their own.  She is respectful of them and is enjoying laying outside and enjoying the beautiful weather and the soft dog bed that has been offered to her.  She is crate trained and just fine.  She would love to play with the small dogs but they have refused her playful offerings.  As cute as she is, they are not interested.  The family we would love to adopt Little Bit is one that has a fenced yard and someone not gone 9 hours a day.  Shorter time gone is fine or even a work from home situation would be perfection.  She is housebroken apparently and she know how to cross her legs like a Southern Lady!   Some added weight might be good for this girl and a 55 pound healthy weight would be ideal for her.  She is a beauty.   A Husky/Shepherd mix is definitely the consensus of her breed.  She is currently 48 pounds and stunning in every way.  Please consider making this girl's Cinderella Story come true NOW!!!   Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com        PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 7, 2026, 5:13 pm

Story
🐾 Meet Presley! 🐾 Hi, my name is Presley, and I’m looking for my forever family! I was surrendered through no fault of my own, but I’m making the best of it and settling beautifully into foster care. I’m a 5-year-old Boxer/Husky mix with the perfect balance of adventure buddy and couch potato. I absolutely love going for walks, exploring the outdoors, and tagging along on new adventures. When it’s time to relax, you’ll find me stretched out on the couch enjoying a good nap. My foster family says I’m doing amazing! I’m house-trained, settle into the home easily, and have great manners. When my foster parents are away at work, I don’t destroy a thing and patiently wait for them to come home. I’m great with kids and get along well with other dogs. Cats are currently unknown. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who enjoys both outdoor adventures and cozy nights at home, I might just be your perfect match. I can’t wait to find the family I’ve been dreaming of! ❤️ Presley

Story
Introducing Morado!A big boy who loves to stretch his legs, play fetch in the yard (Though it`s 50/50 if he brings it back!), and FOOD! Morado is a smart boy who knows sit and has been working on his leash manners. He catches onto things quickly (Like sitting in front of you instead of jumping on you for attention) and treat based training has been working well with this guy! He can be your typical husky mix- loud, rambunctious, and full of playful spirit and sass!Although Morado prefers his home to be free of felines, he would do well with kids over the age of 12. He has a tendency of being snatchy with toys and treats, although we have been working on it here at KVHS! As for dogs, Morado can get over excited when meeting them. He`s looking for a dog who tolerates rough play styles!Overall, Morado is an energetic, eager to please, handsome dude looking for a home to keep him active and get out that energy!Interested in meeting Morado? Swing on down to KVHS with the whole family to ask to meet him!

Story
Meet Aaron,A handsome guy who has his opinions; he`s all talk! Like your typical husky, Aaron is a high energy dude who likes to go outside and romp around in the snow. Although stubborn, he does know `sit` and has continued to work on his other basic commands while here! Aaron could be described as a frat boy; likes to party, get his way, and loves meeting new people! Although he`s looking for a home WITHOUT cats, he`s happy to meet kids or all ages with the understanding that he can be jumpy and mouthy (He`s a big guy at 66lbs and is still learning not to jump/mouth). While Aaron has done VERY well with an older toddler he met at KVHS, he kindly asks for no infants; they freak him right out! Aaron`s play style with dogs is exactly how you`d expect from a wild child like him. He will need a dog friend who matches his crazy, zoomie, in your face play style and who will correct him when he is being too much.Interested in meeting Aaron? Swing on down to KVHS with your whole family (Including future dog siblings) to meet him!
