Story
Meet Aaron,A handsome guy who has his opinions; he`s all talk! Like your typical husky, Aaron is a high energy dude who likes to go outside and romp around in the snow. Although stubborn, he does know `sit` and has continued to work on his other basic commands while here! Aaron could be described as a frat boy; likes to party, get his way, and loves meeting new people! Although he`s looking for a home WITHOUT cats, he`s happy to meet kids over the age of 8 (He`s a big guy at 57lbs and is still learning not to jump/mouth) Although Aaron hasn`t met dogs here at KVHS, we do think he`d be willing to meet submissive dogs.Interested in meeting Aaron? Swing on down to KVHS with your whole family (Including future dog siblings) to meet him!

Story
Sony is a 7-year-old Siberian husky. We got him from a breeder in NH when he was a puppy. He was the runt of his litter. Sony is playful, energetic, loyal, and loving. On the flip side, Sony can be mischievous, dominant and possessive/territorial. He would do best in a home with no other animals or young children. He has a prey-like nature where he naturally will go after small animals if he can. He’s not well socialized with other animals and has gotten into mild scuffs with other dogs over food/toys. He will do best in a home that has the time, patience, and energy to meet his needs. Sony loves to be outside, go on walks and adventures. He does pull on a leash, but will come out of it with time and patience. He knows basic commands but is stubborn and has selective hearing as we like to say to him. He has been a very good dog to us, but has struggled to no fault of his own since our environment has changed, no longer aligning with his best interests and being able to meet all needs.

Story
Meet Sky — your next adventure buddy!Sky is a spunky, medium-energy husky who’s always ready to hit the trail, chase the snowflakes, or zoom around the yard just for fun. True to her breed, she’s curious, clever, and full of personality! Sky loves to explore the great outdoors and play with her doggy friends, but she’s just as happy to flop down afterward for some well-earned cuddles.Sky does have a very sensitive tummy, so she’ll need to stay on her prescription Z/D food and take a daily probiotic to keep things running smoothly. But don’t worry—this adventurous girl doesn’t let anything slow her down!Because of her strong husky prey drive, Sky would do best in a home without cats or livestock. She is, however, always open to meeting new dog friends—she’s made plenty during her stay here at KVHS!If you’re looking for a beautiful, talkative, and fun-loving husky to share life’s adventures with, come meet Sky at the KVHS! She’s ready to steal your heart (and maybe your spot on the couch).

Story
Midas is a bright, energetic pup with a fun personality and sharp mind. He shows his love in meaningful ways, such as lighting up when his people walk in, enthusiastically engaging in endless games of fetch, and happily joining outdoor adventures where he can explore the world by your side. Highly food-motivated and eager to learn, Midas truly shines when he’s given training and enrichment. He already knows cues like sit and shake, and would love to keep learning with someone who enjoys working with an intelligent, active dog. If you’re the kind of person who finds joy in building skills and communication, Midas will be an incredibly rewarding partner.Midas is looking for a home where he can be the only pet, and he’s best matched with teens and adults who appreciate structure, clear boundaries, and positive training. When given the time and understanding he needs, Midas forms deep connections with his people. If you’re ready for an active companion who will engage you, grow alongside you, and form a meaningful bond, Midas might be the start of your next great adventure.

Story
Pashia – A Once-in-a-Lifetime Dog Looking for Her Person    There are dogs who come and go in our lives... and then there are dogs like Pashia — the kind of soul who doesn’t just enter your world, she changes it.  At 2 years old and 55 pounds, Pashia is a breathtaking blue-eyed Husky with a quiet strength and a heart that speaks volumes once it trusts you. She’s not just looking for a home — she’s looking for her person. Someone who sees beyond the pretty face and into the smart, loyal, sensitive spirit that lies beneath.  This girl has so much love to give, but she doesn’t give it away to just anyone — and that’s what makes it so special. Once Pashia chooses you, it’s for keeps. She will be your shadow on the trails, your snuggle buddy during movie nights, your calm presence on quiet mornings. The bond you build with her won’t be just another pet relationship — it will be deep, soulful, and unforgettable. Pashia is beautifully balanced — playful and silly with her toys (she treasures them and never destroys them), yet calm and observant when the day winds down. She loves sitting by a window or glass door, just watching the world — as if taking it all in with a quiet kind of wisdom. She’s potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps soundly through the night. She walks well on leash and enjoys slow strolls where she can take in the sights, scents, and sounds of nature.  She’s a work of art in motion — elegant and athletic — and would thrive with someone who wants a partner for outdoor adventures. But more than anything, she wants a heart to anchor to.  Because of her past, she takes time to trust, and she’s selective with some dogs — especially those with dominant personalities. She’s done well with older or submissive male dogs and could also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. She just needs a home that’s calm, structured, and full of love. Someone who understands that earning the affection of a dog like Pashia isn’t instant — but is entirely worth the wait.  Pashia has grown so much and overcome so many quiet battles. Now, she’s ready to settle into a life where she can feel safe, loved, and understood. If you’re someone who doesn’t just want a dog, but wants one to be 'your' dog — the kind of companion who looks into your eyes and just gets you — then Pashia may be the one you've been waiting for. &#226&#156&#168 Give her the fairytale ending she deserves. Email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to meet Pashia. Because once she lets you into her heart… you’ll wonder how you ever lived without her.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comSeptember 4, 2025, 4:22 pm
