Story
Hi, I'm Minnie! I'm a young husky that's ready to join my forever family and join in their adventures! My foster family says that I'm the quietest husky they have ever met. They tell me most huskies "talk"? I love doing zoomies in their fenced backyard, walks, and they say that I "hoard" the toys into my kennel or my spot on the couch. I've been working on joining my foster family's dogs, I should be fine with other respectful dogs with slow and supervised introduction. I know how to walk on a leash, on group walks I prefer to be the lead dog, but on one on one walks they say I don't pull and am easily redirected if I see something interesting (like a squirrel.) I'm working on kennel time, and have sometimes go to my kennel on my own when I want to relax. I haven't touched anything that I shouldn't (like shoes, books, etc) so I might not need a kennel in your home. At night I either sleep in my kennel at the foot of the bed or some nights in the bed, though I like my personal space. I've met some kids and they seem cool, I don't live with any right now so might need time to adjust if you're adding me to a family with human kiddos. I sometimes get excited to see my people and come up to say hello asap, so bigger kids might be better.  As a husky, I'm fairly interested in small animals, hard to say with 100% certainty if we could coexist because I don't live with any now. I'm hard at work in the backyard trying to clear it of moles, but I haven't done more than scare them so far.  Anyway, that's a bit about me! I'm excited to meet you because I LOVE people!! Complete an adoption application today:  https://www.happyfeetpetrescue.com/adopt A note from Minnie's foster family: if you have any specific questions about her, please connect with Happy Feet and we'd love to answer them! We love this sweet girl, she's affectionate and playful and we have been honored to help her get ready to meet her forever family. ##2619827##

Story
Help us find the right home for Zion 🐾 Zion is a 5-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix weighing about 90 lbs, and he’s ready for a fresh start with someone who understands his needs. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped—all he’s missing is his person. Zion is a smart, high-energy dog who thrives when he’s out of the kennel environment. Like many dogs, the shelter setting can be overwhelming, and it brings out behaviors we may not see in a home. In his kennel, Zion can be reactive to other dogs and protective of his space, but once he’s out in the play yard, he has shown the ability to relax and ignore other dogs. This makes him a bit harder to place, but it also shows he has potential with the right structure and guidance. The good news? Zion is excellent with staff and volunteers and truly enjoys human interaction. He’s a big, strong boy who will need an active home committed to continuing his training and helping him build positive social skills. Zion would do best with: ✔️ An active owner who can provide regular exercise ✔️ Someone committed to training and structure ✔️ Slow, thoughtful introductions to other animals Right now, Zion is part of our Reduced Fee Adoption Event, so his adoption fee is just $25! If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic companion and are willing to invest in helping him succeed, Zion could be your perfect match 💙
