Story
Sheba is new to our rescue. She is around 5 years old and pre-loved. She knows several commands already and is housebroken in her foster home! Sheba walks very well on a leash, and has gorgeous hair and teeth!   So far she is VERY laid back, especially for a husky breed. She is not clingy like other breeds but is gentle and calmly friendly. She rode in the car to foster care like a lady from Royalty.  She will require frequent brushing to keep her silky hair shiny and mat-free. Sheba has a food requirement: She will NOT eat dry dog food unless wet dog food is mixed in. :-)  She is quite a sophisticated gorgeous being inside and out.  It would be best if she has a fenced yard since she is a Husky and they can wander.  She LOVES to lounge in the front or back yard of her foster home and watch all the birds and other activities with little to no reactivity unless....it's a squirrel. She appears to be somewhat of a snoop when it comes to gates, so she needs to be in a home with secure gate closures, just in case she decides to take herself for a walk.  Sheba is recovering from heartworm disease.  She has been on slow kill medication and still shows a 'slight' positive on her last test.  She is on monthly heartworm preventative and an antibiotic.  ##2051119##

Story
I got her from a shelter last August. Where I live now is not a good environment for her, she is very high energy and needs space to run. She is very hyper which causes an issue for me because there is a 3 year old in the house and always wants to play with the other dog we have here and doesn’t keep in mind that the child is near. I just want to find her a better home where she is happy and able to let more energy out. She is very sweet and loving and loves attention.

Story
Hello, my name is sky. My name is sky because my eyes are beautiful sky blue. You will get lost looking in them they are so beautiful I am told. I am a fun loving gal. I love to go for walks, I love to sit on people in their laps because after all I am a lapdog! I am friendly and I love attention. I’m your typical Husky And I like to pull when I walk on the leash you know I’ll do normal things Huskies like to do. Oh,and I walk around with perpetually crabby look on my face. My foster mom tells me that it’s funny. I feel like she’s making fun of me. Anyhow I regress, I would not do well with cats with my prey drive. I love everyone I meet people wise. And I am dog selective. I would probably do best with a male dog and I would do best in a home without Dogs. Playtime would be enough for me with other dogs. I want all the attention lavished on me. I am up-to-date on all my vaccinations, I’m spayed, I’m up-to-date on my heartworm check, I am on heartworm meds flea and tick meds, and I am micro chipped and treated for internal parasites. I am ready and rolling to go to my forever home. If you would like to meet me. And see how pretty I am for yourself please fill out the meet and greet application request below. Oh and I definitely need a fenced in yard no electrical fences please. I hope to hear from you soon and see you soon! Love always, sky Meet and greet request; https://forms.gle/9ZpakBifM523yESC9

Story
Elijah is a young boy (about 2), who is full of love and excitement. He is just finished healing from surgeries after being struck by a car and having his pelvis and leg broken. As a result, his vet says he may never walk "right" but don't tell him that!! He sees nothing wrong with the way he walks. Elijah is very gentle and wants all the attention he can possibly get. He can be dog selective, and may do best as an only dog. He needs someone with Husky experience and who is willing to continue his training and socializing. No cats. Elijah needs a fenced in play area to keep him safe. He's doing very well on leash walks, but does need to continue training on it. He will make a wonderful companion and best friend for the right person. If you'd like to meet him, you can fill out a meet and greet form here: https://forms.gle/kk8HPXkLM4j5WoEK7
