Story
Hi I’m the big boy of my pack, Storm! I have the best demeanor, I am laid back, sweet as can be, and also love to run around and play with my siblings! I take a minute to warm up to new people, I am the shy one, but that sure doesn’t mean once I do that I don’t have good confidence! I am the leader of my litter! Food and treats are life, I finish my meals in the blink of an eye! The kennel is my safe space and I am very comfortable in it over night, and while my foster mom works (just don’t forget my treat)! I have had my nails trimmed multiple times (they grow fast) and have had my first professional bath and blow dry (I was a little shy) but I did SO well! I am used to cats, big dogs, small dogs, and all people big or small! I may end up being large, but that’s just more of me to love! Please pick me to be by your side and share your home, I’ll love you forever! This pet is microchipped, spayed/neutered & up to date on vaccinations. The adoption fee is $500. Story
Greetings, hoomans of the internet, I'm Pancho! I'm a bundle of energy and affection and I would love more than anything to have a forever home to call my very own. Please read my whole bio as I am looking for an experienced dog owner without dogs in the home. I am great with cats. Not a fan of men. I've got skills! Potty trained? Check. Sit, Stay, Down, Shake, Roll-over? Double check. I'm also crate-trained, but I'm such a good boy that I free roam when moms at work and I never get into any trouble. I'm still working on my leash training, but I've made great progress and with a patient hand, I'll be a pro in no time! But let's talk about what really makes me tick...snuggles and walks! I might be built like an athlete, but deep down I'm convinced I'm a lap dog and I'll curl up, sprawl out, and make myself right at home in your lap. And when I'm not cuddling up to you I love to be outside exploring. If you're an active individual who loves a good workout, we're a match made in heaven. Hikes, jogs, walks, - I'm up for it all. I love splashing around in the water and going for car rides which makes me the perfect adventure dog. I also came from a home with 12 cats and I would be happy to have some feline friends to keep me company in my furever home. There are a few things I'm not a big fan of. Men can make me a bit uneasy - especially when they approach my foster mama. But as long as I have some time to get to know them and learn they're not a threat, I warm right up. My foster "grampa is one of my most favoritest humans ever! It took me a little time to figure out he was a cool dude, but now I love him so much and get the zoomies every time he visits :) I also need a home without kids, because I get so excited to make new friends that I forget how big and strong I am. I would also prefer to be the only dog in the house. Being a loyal protector is in my DNA. My foster mom is my top priority, and when we're out, I'm like her personal bodyguard. Safety first! This means I would make a wonderful companion for someone who wants to go adventuring by themselves and feel safe while doing so! I'm looking for a human who knows the ropes - someone who is experienced with dogs and can take me on lots of wonderful adventures. If you're up for snuggles, walks, and a sweet, goofy, and loyal companion who's always ready for action, I'm your pup! Apply to adopt at www.campcompanion.org Adoption fee is $300 plus tax

Story
Robin is a retired breeding pomsky (husky/pomeranian). Robin was really shy when she came into rescue. Everything was new to her. She is enjoying being a family dog and getting use to "being a dog". Robin does require another dog in the home to help her learn to be a dog and she requires a securely fenced yards as she is a flight risk to run away. She is still scared of people and more comfortable with dogs but she is improving every day. She now likes to be petted. She loves to roll around in the grass and play with the other dogs. She is very sweet, slow to trust but once she does, she's all in. Doing well with potty training, still feels more comfortable in the kennel when she gets scared. Walking on leash inside, better than outside. She is a work in progress. Apply to adopt at www.campcompanion.org Adoption fee is $300 plus tax

Story
Meet Wolf! Unfortunately, Wolf lived a previous life, no dog should. Chained to an object, with no where to go. His Husky spirit wasn't able to be free! Wolf is about 7 years old and a goofy husky who loves to snuggle!! His first years were at a puppy mill, but he is loving my foster family and learning lots of new things. He has discovered soft beds, car rides, going for walks and getting treats at coffee shop and pup cups at the Dairy Queen. Snuggling with his foster parents is his favorite and he loves playing with his furry foster brothers! He is house and kennel trained, but he doesn't really like the kennel. Wolf says: Free roam in the house is awesome and my foster mom says I am doing great! I am learning lots, but will need some help with training. NO cats or chickens for their safety in my forever home. I need a fenced yard as I am a husky. I am neutered, microchipped,UTD on vaccines and Lyme positive. I am doing great with my medication. I would love another dog, or I can be the one and only. Lastly, I didn't get much food so I have a little bit of food guarding. It would be best to feed me separately. My foster parents say I have been doing fantastic, but I will continue to need help with the food issue. So if you're looking for a handsome, funny, smart and super snuggly guy-I am him!!! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jasmine is a pit bull/husky mix who was first surrendered to us in November 2020. She was adopted for almost 3 years and blossomed in her home, but was returned in November 2023 due to her adopter's declining health. Jasmine is now 5 to 6 years old, but is still perky and playful. She's also athletic and loves to romp, although her "zoomies" are not the most graceful thing to witness. Jasmine has been fully vetted and her fee is $150. Jasmine is a fairly large and strong girl with a big, block head (sorry sweetie, but it's true). She can be a bit of a talker, which is common with huskies and their mixes. She has received some basic training and learns quickly. Exercise is key to her happiness and she likes to swim and has even gone boating. Jasmine has done pretty well with male dogs and kids. Cats are most likely a no. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications can be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventative, and spayed or neutered.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 10, 2023, 9:42 am

Story
August. Defined by the Oxford Dictionary as "respected and impressive." The staff named me that because I look so regal, but joke's on them, because I'm really a scaredy pants! If there's a noise about to happen, I'm already skittering away from it, but I make up for it with my cuddly and playful personality. Oh and food. If you brought me food, I think you're probably the best ever. That is all. Sincerely, August
