Story
Interested in this dog? We adopted Luna (then Della) from East Coast Adoption when she was 3 months old and have had her for almost 6 years. She is energetic and loves to use her husky voice, but its a big snuggler once she knows who's around. She is crate and house trained, does well with other male dogs, but can get territorial around other female dogs. She loves to give kisses and meet new people, and calms down quickly once she's gotten used to said new folks. She is very food motivated and can train/retrain easily THIS IS AN OWNER REFERRAL DOG CURRENTLY LOCATED IN &#226&#128&#139Stormville NY. Story
Tucker is a loyal, people-oriented dog who has grown from a frightened, unsure pup into a confident companion in the right environment. He is thriving in his foster home, but he is ready for permanence—a person to explore life with and a place to belong.    Tucker enjoys long walks, nature adventures, and water. He can be cautious meeting new people at first, but once he trusts you, his devotion runs deep.    • Crate and house trained  • Dog-friendly (enjoys playdates)  • Cat-approved  • Best suited for a calm, child-free home    All of our animals receive comprehensive veterinary care prior to adoption, including a full exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, spay or neuter, heartworm testing, and any necessary medical treatment.    A vet reference, home and/or family visit, and an adoption fee are required.    Transport options are available within our operating region, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. We do not adopt animals to Canada.    For more information or to submit an application, please visit pmarinc.org.All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Vet references are required and prior to adoption a home inspection will be conducted. Transport options available. Adoption fee applies.  If interested go to www.pmarinc.org for an application. Story
Looking for the perfect balance of playful and laid-back? Roxie is your girl! Roxie isn’t your typical pittie mix—her DNA test revealed she’s 37% Husky (plus a fun mix of other breeds!). She came to us last year from the streets of Dallas, Texas, where she arrived with her pups in tow. Now about 5 years old, spayed, fully vetted, and officially heartworm free, Roxie is ready for her happily-ever-after. This sweet, happy girl loves to play and already knows her basics—she’s a real smarty pants! She gets along well with other dogs and kids, but would do best in a cat-free home. Roxie is thriving in her foster home in upstate NY, but she’s waiting for a forever family to call her own. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada. Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application.
