Story
Diamond is a female Husky.Diamond is just a perfect girl who is waiting for her furever people to come around and give her that special connection she craves. She loves to go on long walks with lots of scents and she loves to give hugs. Diamond is always alert and cautious of her surroundings. Your safety and her safety are her top priorities. Although she is a little shy when you first meet her, she opens up if you offer her some peanut butter, so gently licking it off the spoon. Diamond knows how to walk very well on a leash and definitely knows her leash manners. Diamond would do fine in a home with certain dogs, and without cats or children. Courtesy Post: MEET MAGIC!! I am a 2 Y Male Black&White Husky Border Collie Mix saved from euthansia. I have been with my temporary foster and am looking for my forever home. My humans think I am "Magical" since I have a great intuitiveness and can sense my human's moods. I was also found with an injured left front leg with deep wound due to a fence wire that I was tangled in when I was found. I was very afraid of humans at first but now am much better. My wound has been healing up too. I am handsome, wicked intelligent, and quite a charmer! I like to relax by the TV and adventure outside. Story
Hi my name is Loki. I am hoping to find my new forever home! I suffered a tremendous loss when my human mom passed away after a brief battle with cancer. I am being fostered so I didn't end up in a shelter. About me: I am a chocolate lab mix (probably a little shepherd/husky). I do have a double coat. I can be a lap dog at times, I walk well using a gentle leader, I'm great in the car, crate trained, have no separation anxiety, I enjoy playing in water on warm days and daily long walks where I love to randomly plop and roll in the grass. I'm told I'm a little goofy and also very handsome. I am also very well trained but my foster mom will offer my new forever person training. I would prefer to be an only pet in the house. Absolutely NO cats. An experienced big dog owner would be ideal for me but anyone interested in me please reach out!!! I do need an active person so we can enjoy eachothers company on daily walks. Can't wait to find my new forever person/people!

Story
Meet Luna, a loving and energetic 6-year-old Husky/Pitbull mix looking for her new forever home. We’ve had her since she was 3 months old, and she has always adored being outside, going on walks, and joining in on any adventure. Luna is affectionate, snuggly, and loves giving kisses. She’s crate trained, house trained, good with kids, and enjoys other dogs, though she can be a bit territorial with her belongings. She often greets new people with excited barks and jumping—always out of enthusiasm. We are rehoming Luna due to major family changes, including caring for a loved one undergoing intensive cancer treatment and an upcoming move where we may not be able to secure suitable housing for her. Luna thrives with plenty of exercise, space to play, and lots of attention. She will make a wonderful companion for an active, loving home. We can provide her new home with lots of toys, beds and other essentials that Luna knows

Story
When Nova came to us, she had some medical issues that needed to be addressed. We did that! Now they're all in the past and she's ready to find her very own forever home. If you live in CT and would like to adopt this beautiful girl, please complete an online application: https://www.allaboutthedogsrescue.org/get-involved Nova is a husky mix, about 4 years old. She was saved from euthanasia by an independent rescuer. It turned out she was pregnant (which no one knew) and she had her puppies, who were all placed. Nova developed vaginal hyperplasia following their birth, and our rescue agreed to take her. She was treated for that and has been spayed, and she's now completely recovered! She will probably do best as an only pet. She has had her differences with other dogs in the past, especially when she was a new mom. She absolutely loves all people, and is happy to live with children. Nova is house trained, crate trained, and knows all of her basics. She's a totally awesome dog who will make a terrific family member!

Story
Bernard is a male Akita who is good with kids, likely okay with cats, and selective of the company with other dogs.Bernard is a gentle, well-mannered and easy-going boy. He enjoys the company of people and working a crowd for their love and attention. This super relaxed guy just wants to hang and keep you company. He's very good about taking baths, going to the vet, and going on car rides. He does like to be familiar with his environment to feel comfortable, due to being blind in both eyes. Bernard would do well in a home with kids, but he does prefer a low-energy home. He would do well in a home with other dogs and cats, but he needs to really get to know them before he's comfortable being in the same space. To apply for this pet on Adopets, click the Adopt Me button below their profile picture.
