Story
Tri Pod boy! Casper came to us last fall as a 5 month old puppy from a local family who had purchased him as a small puppy. Quickly they realized that there was something wrong with his hind legs but they did not have the funds to bring him to an orthopedic for further testing. He was surrendered to us and immediately brought to our orthopedic who found that he had not only one but two deformed back legs, luxating patellas (grade 4) on each leg. This is a genetic mess up and he was purchased from a backyard breeder so it is not surprising. Within one week Casper had his first surgery to fix the more usable leg. It was a long road to recovery and we were uncertain of his future of walking normally again. After that leg healed he really didn't show signs of overall improvement and it was decided to not move forward with surgery on the other leg, for many reasons. We gave him time, PT and a lot of working on walking before deciding to take the more deformed and painful leg off. About 2 weeks ago he had surgery to amputate the leg that was holding him back, it was a scary choice because we were uncertain how his other leg and ability to walk would adjust to this new concept of being 3 legged but with our chins on the floor Casper was up and walking the most normal he has ever walked in his life. Casper has always loved life, you can find him cuddled up with his buddy Zazoo at any time of the day or playing in the yard but the new light in his eyes has been amazing. He is finally thriving and able to be a "normal" dog. He is finally ready to find the perfect husky loving home and we couldn't be more grateful to be a part of this guy's story.  Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 42.375 Age: 1yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Diamond is a 7 year old female Husky.Diamond is just a perfect girl who is waiting for her furever people to come around and give her that special connection she craves. She loves to go on long walks with lots of scents and she loves to give hugs. Diamond is always alert and cautious of her surroundings. Your safety and her safety are her top priorities. Although she is a little shy when you first meet her, she opens up if you offer her some peanut butter, so gently licking it off the spoon. Diamond knows how to walk very well on a leash and definitely knows her leash manners. Diamond would do fine in a home with certain dogs, and without cats or children. Story
Meet Jax, a really great all around dog! His blue eyes reveal his husky heritage and his playfulness and affection will win your heart. Jax was an owner surrender through no fault of his own, they just had to move to an apartment complex that did not allow big dogs. We thought that he was a senior dog when we first looked at his teeth, but his molars are in good shape, so he's around 5-6. However, he has some broken and missing teeth in the front. We don't know what happed to them. His foster says "Jax is a low maintenance guy that loves two things above all else, his daily walks and playing with toys. He gets along with all the dogs and cats in our home and even puts up with the foster puppies. He can entertain himself, throwing a toy in the air by himself over and over and then catching it. He practically prances when trotting on his leash." Jax is great on a leash, loves spending time in a fenced in back yard and is very friendly even to people he does not know.
