Mystic is an amazingly gentle and sweet boy who loves playing with toys (stuffed ones), and adventurous walks. He is very mellow and quiet but will alert if something odd or strange is going on when outdoors. He loves sleeping on his ottoman and having shorter walks where he can sniff his world so he is easily pleased with the simple things in Life. He would do best in a home where he is the only boy dog as he likes the Ladies most. He is shy at first to strangers but once he places his trust in someone, that person has a friend for life. He also enjoys a peaceful environment, so one with lots of kids and noises would not be his style. He is 8 years old so ready for a quieter mellow life , but one filled with love and attention.

Jay came to the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center after living in a house with many other dogs and struggling to cope with the world. Thanks to the help of our program, he’s grown into a confident, silly graduate who’s ready to take on life with joy and enthusiasm! Jay is playful, social and always up for a good adventure. He loves hanging out with his people, romping around with dog friends and sniffing everything that looks remotely interesting. He has a gift for turning any yard into his imaginary snow field and any moment into something fun. Once he knows you, Jay is affectionate, cuddly and full of sweet “you’re my person” energy. With new folks, he sometimes takes a moment to check them out first, but a slow approach and a tasty treat will help you become besties. After playtime, he settles in beautifully and enjoys relaxing, snacking and using that clever Husky brain for enrichment and games.
