Story
Aspen is a beautiful 50lb Husky mix rescued originally from living in a crate inn someone's car in the heat of summer. As a pup, we were told he lived outside and was just thrown food by his owners. Aspen is now 2 years old and has had some great socialization. He is shy with new people, but when he warms up he is very interactive with his person. He enjoys doing things with his person, even gently grabbing his foster mom's hand in his mouth to lead her places. Aspen is a medium energy level and overall really chill, especially for his suspected breed type. He walks calmly on a leash, making him an easy exercise partner. We would love for Aspen to go to a home with a fenced in yard; he isn't a huge fa of pottying on a leash, but he will it he has to. He is currently living with other dogs and a cat. He would do ok in a home with CALM and respectful children, ideally older.Aspen's only real vice is that he guards food/water from other dogs. This is easily resolved by feeding him in his crate. He is expressive about his guarding by showing his teeth, but has never bitten or attacked another dog. He's just good at expressing how he feels and communicating! We can't knock him for that. ##2105762##

Story
We took Duke in from our friends brother. Duke spent 23 out of 24 hours a day in a crate because the owner wasn’t allowed to have him in the house. He was terribly infested with fleas, so I couldn’t let him stay there. Unfortunately I just didn’t know what all was involved in taking care of a husky. He is a great dog. He loves people and other dogs! Our home is very small and he is rather large. He lives outside but we feel like he deserves a better home with more attention for him. He also needs a groomer to handle his coat that is not in the best shape. We can’t afford that and he strongly dislikes any touching on his backside. Other than that he’s not a hard dog. He’s stubborn by nature as that comes with the breed, but he would make any one that has the time for him so happy!

Story
Adoption fee is negotiable. My fiancée’s dad recently surrendered his 2 year old husky malamute mix Stella to us due to him neglecting to take care of her. We don’t have enough space to keep her long term with our small house and 2 huskies already. I’m also disabled and dont have the physical capacity to give her the exercise she needs. She’s 2 years old, up to date on vaccinations, leash trained for the most part (still kind of pulls ) spayed and so so sweet. She is house trained, though she still does the excited little pee thing due to anxiety but if you take her out enough she should be okay. Very submissive and friendly with other dogs, ld really prefer for her to go to a home with someone who has huskies preferably since they require much different care than your average dog. I love her so much and would love to see her in a good home after being neglected

Story
Meet Bruce!  Bruce is all puppy all the time! He loves to wrestle his friends (even the cats!), and is learning how awesome having all the toys he could ever want is. He is a friendly energetic boy who has never met a stranger. He's learning about potty training quickly, is good in his kennel, and how to be a good boy when his older foster siblings tell him he's being a bit too silly. He's such a sweet boy!  He is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for his age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Bruce is currently being fostered in South Carolina. ADOPT BRUCE!! www.LuckyPupRescueSC.com The adoption fee is $300.00 and we require a vet check and home visit. September 13, 2024, 10:52 am
