Mommaz is a loving 2 and a half year old female with a beautiful black/brown with white coat who was brought in as a stray. She was very pregnant when she arrived, but that didn't stop her from being a wonderful mom to her babies. Now, it's her turn to find the perfect family to spoil her. Mommaz is a very affectionate and loyal dog who would love a home where she can get all the love and attention she so deserves. She has a great disposition and a hearty sense of humor, and she's always up for a good play session or a long walk. She may be the sweetest girl you'll ever meet, and her beauty is just an added bonus. If you're looking for a funny, loyal, and playful new companion, Mommaz is the one for you! Come by for a visit with this perfect sized pooch today! If you have another dog and are interested in meeting another potential new furry member please bring him or her to the shelter and meet on neutral ground before adopting. No need to shuffle the animals around any more than necessary. Please know that 1 mosquito bite can create heart worms and they can be fatal if not treated. It is VERY important to keep your pets healthy and protected by keeping them on a once a month heart worm and flea/tick prevention. These animals are counting on you as their owner to provide them with lots a love and the proper health care so PLEASE make sure you are aware and prepared before adopting. Owning a pet is an extra expense and responsibility but is so worth every minute and penny you invest in them. They will add lots of joy and unconditional love if given a fair chance. The shelter is open Mon.-Fri. 10-1, 2-5, Sat. 10-4. Adopt a homeless pet and save a life. If you can not adopt right now come out and volunteer and make a difference in the lives of these animals while they await their FOREVER home. In order to adopt any of our "bully breeds" there is special paper work that will need to be collected and approved prior to the adoption. We love all of our dogs and want to make sure to place our "bully babies" in homes best suited for them.

Gentle giant, sweet boy saved from a neglected situation. He loves to roll in grass, being brushed, and stuffed toys. My house was not built for a husky he’s much to big to be comfortable. We keep tripping over each other and he deserves a yard to stretch and play.

Heartworm PositiveMy adoption fee is $300 which covers my annual distemper booster, rabies, and being spayed/neutered and microchipped. The rescue will pay for the injections for HW treatment at Shoreline Vet. in Jacksonville. My adopter would be responsible for the take home meds which average about $200, depending on size, over the 4-month span of treatment. Sweet, shy, and a vocal girl. I take a little bit to warm up, but once I do, I’m full of kisses and zoomies. I love running in the backyard with my toys, talking back, and cuddling with my foster mom on the couch. I’m house and crate trained. Since moving in with my foster mom, I’ve had no accidents at all! I love going on walks and getting all the attention. I don’t mind other dogs, but it does have to be a slow introduction, or I get too scared. I’d do best with an active family, preferably with a big yard for me to run in. If you think I’m a good fit, please consider giving me my forever home!June 23, 2025, 10:47 am
