Story
Selah is a beautiful Husky mix. The vet estimates her date of birth as 8/6/2022. She is medium size. She is crate trained and walks well on a leash. She is ok with other dogs as long as she has a strong owner who will continue training and structure. She is also good with cats. She would love an active family! She's young enough to love playing with kids, or taking hikes, or just lying beside you and watching tv. ~~ Adoption donation $300 . All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and spayed. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Visit www.ruffloverescue.com/adoption and fill out the application to make this pup a member of your familySeptember 7, 2026, 6:24 pm

Story
Elwood spent at least four days roaming as a stray before someone finally called him in, and now this 1-year-old Husky mix is ready for a place to call his own. At 50 pounds, Elwood is a friendly, affectionate pup who loves nothing more than getting some attention and settling in for cuddles. He’s also a smart guy who genuinely enjoys training and already knows sit, down and shake. Give him some treats and he’s more than happy to show off what he knows. He loves zooming around, playing fetch and bringing his toys right back so you can do it all over again. He’s treat motivated, eager to learn and would love a family who will give him plenty of time, attention and opportunities to keep his busy brain occupied. When he’s ready to slow down, he’s happy to lounge around in the pool or right by your side. He’s also done well meeting other dogs at the shelter in passing and seems very curious about making some canine friends. Between his playful energy, love of training and obsession with cuddles, Elwood would be a fun addition to an active home ready to keep his young Husky brain busy. As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. To meet/adopt, visit us in Greensboro, NC from 12-4pm any day except Tuesdays; no appointment needed.
