Story
Dog meet and greets are by appointment only, please answer the questions below the bio, either through Petfinder, Adopt-A-Pet or by directly e-mailing us at shelter@hbpets.org. Please be patient, we try and get back to you as quickly as possible, answering the questions below, help us greatly. Hi there, I am Zero, I am a sweet energetic 9mth old, spayed female, Siberian Husky. What the shelter team knows about me: I am very sweet, I am high energy (of course I am a husky), I love routine, I love other dogs, I have been around children, I would love a home with another dog and if it could be a husky that would be even better. I cannot live with small animals or chickens. I am eager and easily trainable, I would love an active home, a hiking buddy or jogging buddy would be fabulous. My adoption fee is $300, includes spay, microchip, vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment and 1pound bag of food. 1. Do you have a privately fenced yard? 2. How many humans and ages live in your home? 3. How many animals and types? 4. Do you have time for daily walks or jogs? 5. Are you active, hiking etc? 6. Do you have the time for training? 7. Do you have the time to give her hugs and kisses? 8. Have you ever owned a Husky before, before, if so please tell us about them. 9. What would a typical Zero day be like?

Story
Kapri and Darcy are a bonded pair of love bugs, they must be adopted together. Darcy and Kapri are from the same breeder, but are not littermates. Both are a little over 8 years old with about 3 months difference between them. Darcy is a mostly white/gray male with one blue eye and one brown/blue eye. Kapri is a female with mostly black and gray, with one blue eye and one brown eye. Darcy (40 pounds) has a thick coat that needs to be combed at least weekly. Kapri's (30 pounds) coat is not as thick but still needs combed. They will shed. Both are high energy dogs but will settle down fairly quickly. Darcy is food motivated but not aggressive. Kapri loves to lick you, kisses hourly if you let her. Daily walks should help even out their energy level and they love to go on walks. They can eat together so no food aggression issues. They can sleep in a crate together or on your bed or floor - up to you. They are a very sweet loving pair. They love people and other dogs - dont know about cats, tho Darcy was super interested in the kennel cats at the office. They were originally surrendered by their owner due to health issues and being unable to care for the dogs any longer. they are looking again for a for-ever home. Please contact us by filling out the application to meet this loveable pair on Our website - OFOSA.ORG. Must go to a home (NOT an Apartment) with a secured fenced yard and BREED knowledge : POMSKY = Pomeranian/Husky mix. The adoption fee is a total of $400 for both dogs.

Story
WOOF! I'M BELLA! I'm a beautiful 1-1/2-year-old white Siberian Husky girl rescued from a California shelter. I'm currently needing a foster or forever home! I'm a gorgeous girl - and I get along great with other dogs. I love people, too! I would thrive in a home with an active single person, a couple or a family who loves to walk, run, hike, camp or snuggle! I weight about 53 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
MEET PATCH! Patch is a happy 1-year-old Husky-Shepherd mix in need of a new foster or forever home! He's a handsome boy, with one patch of his eye. Patch was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter hours before he was going to be killed, as the shelter was full. He was impounded there as a stray. Patch is an active guy who wold do well with an active owner - someone who likes to run, walk, hike or go on outings. We are unsure yet how he is with other dogs but will be testing him soon. Overall, he's a great, young dog who will thrive with the right owner. Please email for an application.

Story
Though the name is fierce, Rebel could not be sweeter and gentler. She is the one who seeks attention and love more than anything. With distinctive coloring, she is sure to be a star in your life. She is the one who wants to lick you and cuddle you and be close by your side. As any puppy this cute, she will need training and guidance since at this point its all about curious and discovering the world. Please consider that she is full of energy and working on potty training (which is going well), consider how big she will grow up to be and how much exercise she will need as an adult. Evaluate your lifestyle and your needs as this is a lifetime commitment. She is 3 1/2 month old and still needs 1 more distemper/parvo shot so no store floors, front yards or neighborhood walks until then. She has never been alone until adopted for 1 week and it didn't go well so she needs to have another dog to help show her the ropes on being a great dog. Her adoption fee is $380, she is spayed, chipped and other than 1 shot left she is up to date. She does require a securely fenced yard as her mom was a Husky and they are escape artists. To meet rebel, fill out the application on OFOSA.ORG and the foster mom will be in touch for a meet to see if she is your next family member.
