Meet Leo, a confident, playful puppy who’s ready to take on the world. He loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and is always up for a game with his favorite toys. He’s outgoing, social, and already showing signs of being a well-mannered young pup. Like any puppy, Leo is still learning the ropes. He’s making progress with potty training, does well in his crate, and is working through normal puppy behaviors like play biting and exploring everything around him. Crate training is a must for this little explorer. Leo is a husky, a breed known for intelligence, energy, and independence. While he’s off to a great start, he will thrive with a family that can provide structure, consistency, training, and plenty of physical and mental exercise as he grows. Story
Koa is the sweetest boy. He is a healthy 4yr old purebred Siberian Husky that comes microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered. He is being rehomed through no fault of his own. Our daughter was diagnosed with a serious health condition, and we are unable to give him the attention he needs. He is great with kids and currently lives with a 6yr old and two 4yr olds. He is friendly with all people. He is compatible with any dog-savvy cat and is well-socialized with other dogs. Koa has high energy as expected from a healthy husky. He currently gets 1-2 miles of running per day. Fully house trained and is calm indoors with regular exercise. He can be left alone for 8hrs and roams the house without issue. He is not very vocal. He only barks when he wants to be let back in the house. A secure fenced in yard is a must. We take him on off-leash runs every day, and as long as you are attentive, he will stick with you.

WOOF! I'M PATCH! I'm a 2-1/2-year-old husky mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a California high-kill shelter in the nick of time and am currently in a foster home in Southern Washington but available to meet! I'm a young, active dog, and am friendly, playful, smart, curious and very athletic. I'm also strong, and need a a strong owner who can be my companion. I am affectionate and will give kisses once I get to know you. I love treats and food in general. I also enjoy human attention and affection, and would do best with someone who is active. I've been tested with other dogs and did well on my dog test, though I'd thrive also as an only dog with a person or people who loves to go for walks, hikes or other outings because my husky energy can turn some dogs off. I'm a great, happy boy who is ready go home! I weigh about 60 lbs. Please email for an application.

MEET JASPER! This handsome and happy 2-1/2-year-old lab-husky mix was rescued from a crowded California shelter, where he was surrendered by his previous owner because she was reportedly moving. When the shelter filled up, Jasper was put on the euthanasia list for lack of space. Fortunately he was rescued and is moving on to a second and better chapter in his life! He is a sweet and friendly boy who loves everyone. He does well with other dogs and listens well! Jasper will do great with a single person, couple or family who can take him for walks, hikes and other outings. He weighs 50-55 lbs., and is currently in a foster home in Southern Washington. MEET BENJI, a 2-year-old Siberian Husky-shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home! He weighs only 48 lbs! Benji was rescued from a crowded California shelter, where I did well with other dogs. He's a sweet boy and like most huskies, is incredibly smart. He will do great with an active person or people who love to go for walks, hikes and other outings. MEET BASS & TENOR! This happy and loving duo has waited much too long for a home but we can't split them up. They are a loving, fun pair of playful dogs who need a foster or forever home! They are very affectionate toward people, and love, love, love each other. They are likely brothers, who found themselves at a crowded California shelter with no adoption interest. Fortunately they were rescued but still haven't found a home yet. They must be adopted together as they are extremely bonded. Both are almost 8 years old. Bass, the brown-and-white pup, weighs only 55 lbs., and Tenor (tan and white) weighs about 60 lbs. They are fun, active pups who love to run, play and snuggle with each other. They would love to be adopted by someone who could take them on hikes, walks and other outings. They currently play with each other for entertainment but it'd be great for them to branch out and see the world. Bass & Tenor love to jump up and give kisses. They are not super friendly with other dogs, so should be the only dogs in the home - but they have plenty of love to give and will be grateful to whomever adopts them. If you can foster or adopt Bass & Tenor, please email for an application. They are currently in Southern California but can be transported to Portland.
