Story
Hi! My name is Joey and I am a one year old neutered male Siberian Husky. I had a bit of a rough start in life with a few changes but since being at my foster parent`s house, I have really come out of my shell and am really a happy, affectionate dog. I am crate trained and housetrained. My foster parents have two huskies and a smaller terrier and I love playing with them all day long. I have been going with them to a Doggy Daycare and I think that`s the best! I really like being with another dog, it helps me. I would enjoy being in a home with other dogs. I haven`t met a cat yet but I don`t think I should live in a home with one since I like to chase things! I`d probably do best in a home with kids that are a little older, maybe six and up, since I am still learning my manners and get overexcited and jump on people. I absolutely love everyone I meet and want all the attention all the time. I am not sure what to do with toys yet but my foster brother is slowly teaching me. I have a LOT of energy so apartment life is not for me. I need a home with a solid fence and a yard and a family that wants to do things with me and make me part of their family. To meet me fill out the application on OFOSA.ORG at the bottom of the available dogs page. My adoption fee is $ 320 ($340 as of 4/15/2025) for a fully vetted boy!

Story
Darcy and Kapri are a bonded pair of love bugs, they must be adopted together. Darcy and Kapri are from the same breeder, but are not littermates. Both are around 9 years old with about 3 months difference between them. Darcy is a mostly white/gray male with one blue eye and one brown/blue eye. Kapri is a female with mostly black and gray, with one blue eye and one brown eye. Darcy (40 pounds) has a thick coat that needs to be combed at least weekly. Kapri`s (30 pounds) coat is not as thick but still needs combed. They will need grooming. Both are high energy dogs for seniors but will settle down fairly quickly. Darcy is food motivated but not aggressive. Kapri loves to lick you, kisses hourly if you let her. Daily walks should help even out their energy level and they love to go on walks. They can eat together so no food aggression issues. They can sleep in a crate together or on your bed or floor - up to you. They are a very sweet loving pair. They love people and other dogs - dont know about cats, tho Darcy was super interested in the kennel cats at the office. They were originally surrendered by their owner due to health issues and being unable to care for the dogs any longer. they are looking again for a for-ever home. Please contact us by filling out the application to meet this loveable pair on Our website - OFOSA.ORG. Must go to a home (NOT an Apartment) with a secured fenced yard and BREED knowledge : POMSKY = Pomeranian/Husky mix. Their adoption fee is $450 total for 2 dogs.

Story
HI - I'M JAMES! I'm a 3-1/2-year-old dog-friendly husky mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a California shelter over a year ago, and have been waiting for a home ever since! I'm not sure why it's taking so long - I'm great with other dogs, love people and I'm a happy, loving boy. I was kenneled with a female dog at the shelter. I'm gentle, smart and active - and I would do well with someone who loves to go for long walks or hikes. I weigh only about 50-55 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
WOOF! I'M PATCH! I'm an almost 2-year-old husky mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a California high-kill shelter in the nick of time. I'm a young boy with a lot of smiles: I am friendly, playful, smart, curious and athletic! I am affectionate and will give kisses once I get to know you. I love treats and food in general. I also enjoy human attention and affection. I've been tested with other dogs and did well on my dog test. I would do well with an active single person or couple who are active, and who love to go for walks, hikes and other outings. I'm a great, happy boy who will thrive in an active home. Please email for an application.

Story
Hi my name is River (You can see the blue in my eyes) and I am around 3 years old. I come from California, one of many who lost their forever families. But I am a VERY well trained pooch. My foster mom says so. I can sit, place, break, potty (either by normal door or dog door), shake and stay...well mostly stay. We are working on that. My foster mom says that I am wicked smart, and I agree with her. Every time she teaches me something new, it takes less than 3 whole days and she is pretty sure I could learn agility training in my sleep. I have had a bit of a rough life for a while, but am looking for my forever family. I am incredibly affectionate and loyal and really want my home to be about me with no other pets or children, although I don`t mind them in general. I love walks, balls, staring for HOURS watching squirrels do squirrel things and being next to and getting scritches from you! I like meeting new people and smelling all the smells, especially on walks. Since it`s been a hard road, change can be a bit discombobulating and sometimes I feel nervous, but that goes away with treats, consistency, stability and most of all love. If you think I sound like the right dog for you, let my foster mom know. She wants me to have an amazing life, because I am amazing! I am fully vetted: 70 pounds, neutered and microchipped. To meet me fill out the application on OFOSA.ORG and my Foster mom will be in touch. NO APARTMENT life for me and must have a secure fenced yard. My adoption fee is $320 ($340 as of 4/15/2025)
