Story
`Hi! My name is Joey (although my foster parents affectionately call me Crash after Crash Bandicoot) and I am looking for my new best friend. Could it be you? I had a rough start to life when my owner passed away, that was really hard for me and I got passed around a bit before being rescued. My foster parents have had me for six months now and in that time I have become such a happy, playful dog. I LOVE playing with my foster siblings, two huskies and a small terrier. I am great with other dogs big and small and want every dog I meet to be my friend. I love going to doggy daycare and have a blast running around all day with my dog friends there. I like going on walks and I walk well on the leash. I have really liked exploring local parks and trails with my foster brother and think that it would be great if I could go on lots of fun adventures!I am great in the car and enjoy going on road trips too. I took a road trip to Southern California and was so good and well behaved in the car. I also love pup cups and wish I could eat them every day! I am fully potty trained and will let you know when I need to go outside. I have done really well with crate training and I enjoy hanging out in my crate, I like to go in there to take naps. I also LOVE toys! My foster mom gets Bark Box and my foster brother and I have so much fun playing with them. I know how to `sit`, `shake`, and `wait` and I learn new things really quickly. I am also very snuggly and want to be with you on the couch or the hammock or wherever, I just love attention. I am still a young dog so you do have to keep an eye on me around food, I have been known to sneak food off the counter or out of the garbage at times but I am still learning. I would do best in a home that has other dog friend/s for me to play with. I am a husky so I need a yard with a solid fence and regular exercise, no apartment living for me. I am pretty chatty so I do talk to you and share my opinions! I don`t think I would do well with cats, I like to chase bugs and anything moving so cats would probably not be a good idea. I`d do best with kids six and up since I don`t always know my size and sometimes jump on people. My adoption fee is $340 and I am fully vaccinated and vetted. I have been in foster care a long time and would really love a home of my own. Could it be yours?

Story
Darcy and Kapri are a bonded pair of love bugs, they must be adopted together. Darcy and Kapri are from the same breeder, but are not littermates. Both are around 9 years old with about 3 months difference between them. Darcy is a mostly white/gray male with one blue eye and one brown/blue eye. Kapri is a female with mostly black and gray, with one blue eye and one brown eye. Darcy (40 pounds) has a thick coat that needs to be combed at least weekly. Kapri`s (30 pounds) coat is not as thick but still needs combed. They will need grooming. Both are high energy dogs for seniors but will settle down fairly quickly. Darcy is food motivated but not aggressive. Kapri loves to lick you, kisses hourly if you let her. Daily walks should help even out their energy level and they love to go on walks. They can eat together so no food aggression issues. They can sleep in a crate together or on your bed or floor - up to you. They are a very sweet loving pair. They love people and other dogs - dont know about cats, tho Darcy was super interested in the kennel cats at the office. They were originally surrendered by their owner due to health issues and being unable to care for the dogs any longer. they are looking again for a for-ever home. Please contact us by filling out the application to meet this loveable pair on Our website - OFOSA.ORG. Must go to a home (NOT an Apartment) with a secured fenced yard and BREED knowledge : POMSKY = Pomeranian/Husky mix. Their adoption fee is $400 total for 2 dogs.

HI - I'M JAMES! I'm a 3-1/2-year-old dog-friendly husky mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a California shelter over a year ago, and have been waiting for a home ever since! I'm not sure why it's taking so long - I'm great with other dogs, love people and I'm a happy, loving boy. I was kenneled with a female dog at the shelter. I'm gentle, smart and active - and I would do well with someone who loves to go for long walks or hikes. I weigh only about 50-55 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
WOOF! I'M PATCH! I'm an almost 2-year-old husky mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a California high-kill shelter in the nick of time. I'm a young boy with a lot of smiles: I am friendly, playful, smart, curious and athletic! I am affectionate and will give kisses once I get to know you. I love treats and food in general. I also enjoy human attention and affection. I've been tested with other dogs and did well on my dog test. I would do well with an active single person or couple who are active, and who love to go for walks, hikes and other outings. I'm a great, happy boy who will thrive in an active home. Please email for an application.

Story
Hi my name is River (You can see the blue in my eyes) and I am around 3 years old and I am a VERY well trained pooch. I can sit, place, break, potty (either by normal door or dog door), shake and stay. I am wicked smart, and love to learn new things. I am looking for my forever home. I am incredibly affectionate and loyal and really want my home to be about me. No cats or children. (I’m pretty tall, about 2 feet) I am good with other people and children who visit. I love walks, balls, staring for HOURS watching squirrels do squirrel things. I will spend as much time with you as you can take. I LOVE affection and just spending time with you. I am a working breed, so it would be best if someone who has had experience with someone like me or loves consistently as much as I do. If you think I sound like the right dog for you, let my foster mom know. She wants me to have an amazing life, because I am amazing! I am fully vetted: 70 pounds, neutered and microchipped. To meet me fill out the application on OFOSA.ORG and my Foster mom will be in touch. NO APARTMENT life for me and must have a secure fenced yard. My adoption fee is $340.
