Story
Meet Nova! Nova is a beautiful, one-year-old husky with the sweetest soul. She is incredibly loving and thrives when she’s around her people — whether that’s going for walks, hanging out at home, or just being part of the action. She has a fun, playful personality and keeps you laughing with her expressions and classic husky attitude. Nova is eager to learn, people-oriented, and a joy to work with. She already knows basic commands including sit, shake, and touch, Nova is doing very well with both potty training and kennel training and has adapted quickly to a home environment. She also loves playing with toys and chewing on bones. She gets along well with other dogs and would be happy with a canine companion or as the center of attention in her new home. True to her breed, Nova has the classic husky “woo” and loves to talk to her people. Nova will thrive in an active home where she can get regular exercise, as she truly enjoys staying busy. She would make a great hiking, walking, or adventure buddy. Nova is a classic husky — vocal, smart, playful, and full of personality — and will thrive with someone who appreciates the breed’s charm and energy. Nova is being fostered in Huntsville, AL. She is available for transport, the adopter will be responsible for the fees. Apply at forrescue.net

Story
Meet Jay, the Husky who believes each day deserves a tiny bit of chaos, a lot of fun and at least one dramatic zoom! Jay came to the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center after living in a house with many other dogs and struggling to cope with the world. Thanks to the help of our program, he’s grown into a confident, silly graduate who’s ready to take on life with joy and enthusiasm! Jay is playful, social and always up for a good adventure. He loves hanging out with his people, romping around with dog friends and sniffing everything that looks remotely interesting. He has a gift for turning any yard into his imaginary snow field and any moment into something fun. Once he knows you, Jay is affectionate, cuddly and full of sweet “you’re my person” energy. With new folks, he sometimes takes a moment to check them out first, but a slow approach and a tasty treat will help you become besties. After playtime, he settles in beautifully and enjoys relaxing, snacking and using that clever Husky brain for enrichment and games. If you’re looking for a spirited, goofy and big&#226&#128&#145hearted companion who brings joy wherever he goes, Jay just might be your guy.
