Story
Meet Honey Bear, Indigo May, and Zara Violet! 🐾 These three beautiful sisters were pulled as strays from a shelter and are now settling into the comfort of a loving foster home. Each day they’re learning that people can be kind, beds can be soft, and life can be full of fun and adventure. These gorgeous girls appear to be Husky/Shepherd mixes, which means they’re likely to grow into smart, active companions who thrive with engaged families. Dogs with these breeds often have some wonderful (and sometimes hilarious!) personality traits, including: • Highly intelligent – both Huskies and Shepherds are very smart and learn quickly with positive training • Loyal and people-oriented – Shepherd mixes often bond closely with their families • Active and energetic – they’ll enjoy walks, playtime, and outdoor adventures • Playful and curious – these girls will likely love exploring and learning new things • Vocal personalities – Huskies are famous for their “talking” and expressive sounds • Strong working instincts – Shepherds especially enjoy having a job, like training games, agility, or puzzle toys • Affectionate companions – after exercise and play, many love nothing more than relaxing with their people With consistent training, exercise, and love, these girls have the potential to grow into amazing family dogs and adventure buddies.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ✨🐾 Meet Amira — Still Waiting for Her Once-in-a-Lifetime Person 🐾✨ Female • Husky • ~2 Years • ~45 lbs Amira has been patient. - Patient while raising her babies. - Patient while watching other dogs find their homes. - Patient while waiting for her turn — her person, her family, her moment to finally be someone’s everything. Now it’s her time, her time to just breathe, her time to shine, her time to be the center of your universe. At around 2 years old and 45 pounds, Amira is the perfect mix of sweetness and spirit. She carries herself with quiet confidence, soft eyes, and that unmistakable Husky sparkle that says, “Life is an adventure… and I’d really like to share it with you.” She’s affectionate, friendly, and wonderfully balanced. She enjoys playtime and outdoor activity, but she also appreciates calm connection — the kind where she can simply sit beside you and feel safe, chosen, and home. Amira is great with kids and other dogs, bringing a steady, reassuring presence wherever she goes. Cats are still unknown, but with thoughtful introductions, she may do just fine. Now, because she is a Husky, let’s sprinkle in just a dash of reality: this girl is athletic and clever. Fences are more like “suggestions” in her world. She’ll thrive in a home committed to leash walks, secure outings, and including her in adventures rather than leaving her to entertain herself. She doesn’t want to run away — she wants to run with you. And truly, that’s what she wants most — to be with her person. After spending her early adulthood caring for others, she’s ready to be cared for. Ready for long walks, silly moments, cozy evenings, and the simple joy of belonging. She deserves a home where she’s not just a dog in the yard — but a cherished companion in the heart of the family. Amira isn’t loud about her wishes. She doesn’t demand attention. She just waits, hopeful, for someone to see her and say, “That’s my girl.” If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, adventure-ready best friend who will meet you at every sunrise and settle beside you at every sunset, Amira is ready. She’s been patient long enough. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this sweet girl the forever she’s been quietly dreaming of. 💙🐾

Story
Meet Lucius – Your Adventure Buddy with a Sweet Side Lucius is a 4.5-year-old Husky mix with the perfect balance of independence and affection. He enjoys the comfort of being inside and will happily nap near his people, but once he wakes up, he’s ready to explore! This boy loves being outdoors, whether it’s going for a walk or simply sitting outside on leash soaking in the fresh air and watching the world go by. True to his Husky roots, Lucius is energetic and absolutely loves to sniff everything. Walks are his favorite activity, and he thrives with regular outdoor time and mental stimulation. He does best on leash and is not reliable off leash unless he’s in a securely fenced yard. Lucius does well with small dogs and has lived peacefully with two little dogs, as well as cats. Like many dogs, he can be particular about high-value items and would do best with supervision around toys or special treats in a multi-dog home. With clear boundaries and structure, he continues to show what a sweet, loyal companion he is. Overall, Lucius is a sweetheart who just wants love, consistency, and a family that understands his need for movement and engagement. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who enjoys both cozy naps and outdoor adventures, Lucius might be your perfect match. He is being fostered in Texas, but can be transported. To apply directly for Lucius, push the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-809 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy’s team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home.
