Story
*Introducing Simba, the Husky Prince!**Simba is not your average dog - he’s a young husky prince full of life and charm! This stunning red husky mix is about 1.5 years old, weighing just over 50 pounds. With one blue eye and one brown, Simba’s unique look matches his unique personality.Simba loves nothing more than playing fetch and leaning against his favorite people for some love and attention. Despite his size, he’s good about not jumping up on you, though he’s always eager to learn new skills and tricks. One of Simba’s favorite pastimes is interacting with other dogs, from the tiniest to the largest. He’s fantastic with them all, making him a great companion for any furry friend. If you’re looking for a playful, loving, and incredibly unique dog, Simba might just be the one for you. Give him some scratches, and he’ll probably try to catch the hair that floats away afterward - that’s just the kind of quirky, lovable pup he is!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
My ideal home is a house with a 6 foot wooden fence and that my family is active and has Husky experience. I am a very vocal, energetic gal that would enjoy a cooler climate where I can go on hikes and daily runs. I do like other dogs that like my energy level. I will require dog training and daily exercise. I cannot live in an apartment and I do no like cats. Taking serious online applications.

Story
I am Sweetie. I was abandoned by my owner and some nice retired people took me in. I am looking for a home of my own since they have cats and I don't think cats should be in my house. I am in a foster home with a securely fenced yard. I will do best with an active family that will take me for daily runs and walks as I have lots of energy to burn. I will enjoy dog training at the Palms especially to teach my new owners to help me walk politely on a leash. I will have to meet new dog pals.

Story
Welcome Bailey Blue to CCPAL Foster Program. She is a 4-year-old and appears to be a pure bred Siberian Husky. She is a little bit chunky at 75 pounds. She is a beautiful Red and White husky with light blue eyes. She is good with dogs her size and smaller dogs. She was very tolerant of a little dominant boy dog that fell in love with her at the Rescue. She has lived in a home with children successfully. She is also around cats but all time with them is supervised. She is potty trained, good on a leash and good in a car. She does not jump up on you which is nice. She has a beautiful coat that will need regular brushing to stay looking beautiful. We would love a previous husky owner for her new family. She would love to live in the cooler more northern climates as she has a beautiful full coat to fully enjoy this type of weather. She would be fine with children and we like them to be 8 or older. Husky dogs need a good fenced yard. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont, Conneticut or all along the East Coast. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Story
This handsome boy is Beau! This sweet boy thrives on human interaction and loves to be near you at all times! Not only is he a people-pleaser, but Beau also enjoys spending time with other dogs. Beau came to us underweight, but you can tell he's grateful to always have a full belly and is slowly starting to look much healthier! That said, he is very food and treat motivated, which will help when it comes to training. With his endearing personality and adorable looks, Beau is sure to bring happiness to any loving home. Beau is a Husky mix, weighs 51 pounds, and was born on 2/1/2023. Before adoption, he will be neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Beau must be an indoor dog, meaning he sleeps in the home setting and does not live outside. If you are interested in adopting Beau, please email bahshelter@yahoo.com. If there are other dogs in your home, we require a meet and greet. Meet and greets can schedule via email at bahshelter@yahoo.com. All of the current pets in your home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.Thank you!
