Story
Introducing the wonderful Miska, a 1-2-year-old female husky mix rescued from the shelter's euthanasia list. Although Miska was initially heartworm positive, she has undergone treatment and is now fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and ready for a fresh start. While Miska remains a bit timid, she is making strides each day towards overcoming her past. It's apparent that she experienced abandonment and lacked the socialization she needed during her puppyhood. Despite her early challenges, Miska is dog-friendly and would thrive in a family environment filled with love, patience, and understanding. Miska deserves the opportunity to find happiness and have a family to call her own. She is currently adapting well in her temporary foster care, but she longs for a permanent home. Consider welcoming Miska into your family in 2023, and be part of her journey to a brighter and happier future.

This is japan she is a absolute sweetheart, likes belly rubs, and will occasionally look at you like you have 2 heads. She loves treats and pretends she dosnt like to cuddle but will curl up next to you when she can. unfortunately she likes to break out and go explore and bother the neighbour's animals so I can't keep her anymore.

Story
Do you love the husky howl? Then Laddy is for you!Laddy has multiple play date buddies! This includes currently, Elroy, Kimber, and Leif! Laddy is very sweet and very playful. Laddy has a ton of energy, and we think she'd really enjoy hiking! She also enjoys water quite a lot! Possibly a hidden swimming talent? Laddy is quite the singer, but is also good with other dogs! She walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands. She is still working on her housebroken skills. We think Laddy would work best in a home with only dog and human siblings, and with a fence.

Story
Zeus is a 2 year old neutered male. Possibly Border collie/Husky mix. UTD on vaccines and microchipped. Zeus is a super silly boy, he is a big talker and has loads of personality. He likes to play with toys and dog friends but can be a little rough, so another younger playful dog would be a plus. Zeus also enjoys getting in the doggy pool and going for walks. He is always up for an adventure so if you are an active person that enjoys the  outdoors Zeus would make a great addition!!! 45 pounds House broken

Story
Very well trained and well behaved Siberian husky. Not like any other husky you know no barking or howling. Trained as a service and guard dog. Great with kids, other dogs and cats. Super healthy and athletic. He is 5 years old. Does all the tricks plus hugging. He prefers someone with a big yard or a farm. He doesn’t like any type of toys except a soccer ball. We waisted so much money on toys and they are still new since he was a pup. We buy him a new doggy soccer ball every 3-5 months. His treats are real goat cubes or beef patties. He doesn’t shed much because of his healthy diet. He loves car rides. He is better off leash than on a leash ( next to me means next to me)

Story
Manishka... Manishka came into the rescue while she was still in the womb of her mama, Mama-ishka! A good samaritan reached out to us to help Mama. She was a regular stray in the neighborhood especially after her owners up and left her behind. They moved and didn't bother to take her with them. Manishka is the only gray pup of her litter. She is adorable, sweet, and loves to give kisses. She is at times quiet within the five puppies in her litter. She will sit back and watch everything around her. She is a smart girl! Of the four girls pups, she is the biggest one. Manishka has taken to learning her puppy lessons from her mama very well. Mama-ishka has taught the kids that you don't pee/poo in your bed area nor near your food. Manishka is being kennel trained. She falls asleep by 10pm and wakes up bright and happy at 7:30am. She is also being potty trained. She will wake up and quickly make her way to the backyard door. She will even wake up from her naps and cry out to let us know she has to pee. She is a FAST learner! But, considering her very young age she will need continued training to help her be the best pup that she can be. She's at the perfect age to introduce into any home! This little girl is also a HUGE LOVE BUG!!! She does love to be petted, held, cuddled, etc. She will happily look at you with her big silver/gray eyes and give you a big wet kiss! Her gaze will melt your heart!!! Manishka is ready to learn, love, and live with her family. Are you ready to have a fun and happy pup as a member of your family? All of Manishka's vetting has been done by my personal dogs' vet. The following is a list of what has been done for her... Spayed All 4 - DA2PP shots (Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2 (Hepatitis), Parvo, and Parainfluenza) Bordatella shot Rabies shot Dewormed Tested, Treated (if needed), and retested for giardia and coccidia Iverhart heartworm preventative Simparica fleas and ticks preventative Chipped There are two categories of vaccines: “core” vaccines that are recommended for all pets, and “non-core vaccines” which may be recommended by your vet based on lifestyle and exposure risk. The core vaccine for dogs is the Rabies vaccine, which is required by law. The second core vaccine for dogs is often referred to as the DA2PP or DHPP vaccine. This stands for “Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2 (Hepatitis), Parvo, and Parainfluenza”, meaning that this vaccine protects against FOUR different diseases. It is especially important for puppies to begin a series of DA2PP vaccines at six to eight weeks of age, as natural immunity obtained from the mother decreases and puppies become very susceptible to potentially life-threatening diseases such as Canine Parvovirus (Parvo). Parvo is transmitted through feces and can remain in the environment for at least one month, and up to a year if the conditions are right. This means that puppies do not need to be directly exposed to another dog that has Parvo in order to contract the disease, and caution is advised when choosing where and how to socialize and exercise your pup. We recommend avoiding exposure to unknown dogs or public places until your puppy has finished their vaccine series. BUT, all A.M.O.R. puppies (1 year old and less) have all FOUR shots. They are safe to join you and your family on your outdoor adventures and you can rest at ease. Non-core vaccines for dogs include Bordetella, Influenza, Leptospirosis and Lyme. The Bordetella (aka: Kennel Cough) help to prevent highly-contagious respiratory diseases, and are essential for dogs that may be exposed to other dogs, especially in group settings such as dog parks, daycare, or boarding facilities. All A.M.O.R. dogs and puppies are given a Bordatella vaccine. Bordatella boosters are given every 6 months. https://www.thedrakecenter.com/services/dogs/parasites/deworming-dogs The above link is to provide you information regarding why deworming is so important for all dogs of all ages (and for their families). All A.M.O.R.s are dewormed upon entering the rescue and then again 5 days before their health certificate visit (when they have been adopted and ready to travel). This dewormer is issued per our vet. And all pets are tested, treated (if needed), and retested for coccidia and giardia. A.M.O.R. provides you with this information so that you can be aware of the work and love that is given to each pet. Each puppy has visited the vet AT LEAST 5 times during their stay with us. They have seen the vet 4 times for their shots and will see the vet 1-2 more times prior to transport in order to obtain a health certificate for travel. Adult dogs have seen the vet AT LEAST 3 times. Two visits for their shots and 1-2 visits prior to transport in order to obtain a health certificate. Are you ready to have a lifetime of fun with Manishka??? All animals receive a health certificate (stating that a licensed veterinarian saw the pet and deemed it healthy for travel, but is not a promise of perfect health). Please email for an A.M.O.R. application in order to be considered. Please note: this pet is located out of state.
