Meet Tank – A Gentle Soul Looking for a Fresh Start Tank is a 2-year-old Husky/Pit Bull mix who is ready to leave his difficult past behind and find the loving family he deserves. Tank came to us through a seizure case in heartbreaking condition. He was severely emaciated, but thanks to the care he's received, he's slowly gaining weight and getting stronger every day. Shelter life has been stressful for him, and while the kennel can be overwhelming, there's a completely different dog waiting to shine once he's comfortable. Tank is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. He previously lived with other dogs, and we feel he has the potential to do well with a canine companion. A dog meet is required to make sure everyone is a good match. We are unsure how he is with cats, so any introductions should be done with extreme caution and very slowly. Tank is nervous around new people and unfamiliar situations, but once he trusts you, he's an absolute love bug who just wants to be close to his people. Because of this, we'd like everyone in the household to come to the meet-and-greet so we can make sure everyone is comfortable together. At only 2 years old, Tank is still very much a puppy. He'll benefit from continued training, structure, and patience as he learns that the world isn't such a scary place. He absolutely loves being outside, exploring new places, and soaking up all the sights and smells. An active family would be a wonderful fit for him, giving him healthy outlets for his energy while helping him build confidence. Tank has already overcome so much. Claudia is a 2-year-old, 56-pound Husky mix with an award-winning personality! She came to us at rescue with a large cut on her inner thigh that had to be sutured, but that hasn’t slowed her down. (She’s almost completely healed!) She’s super sweet, playful, energetic, and vocal. She also loves belly rubs and knows how to sit! Great girl!!! We got blue as a puppy as a rescue from a puppy mill. He’s now 9 years old and has been raised with 3 children, another dog & a cat and has done extremely well with all. He’s a very sweet dog and lives to please anyone. His favorite things to do are going on walks , car rides and lounging around. He’s not your typical husky. He has a very calm and chill demeanor. We’re looking to regime him due to a recent move and job change. I’ll no longer be working from home and will be gone 10+ hours in a day which isn’t fair to him. Looking for a family that has more time to spend with him as he enters his senior years.
