Story
Meet Sally! She was one of four puppies that came to WAG in 2023 from a hoarding situation. Prior to being at WAG, we suspect she had never been outdoors before, but in her time here, she is learning to trust in people.  Sally is a smart but shy girl that would love to continue her training with you. She has been working on basic commands as well as a few additional tricks. She would do well in a home with children over the age of 8, time to spend with her, and perhaps another dog that could act as a good role model. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Adoption donation fee up to $350 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue) September 3, 2026, 12:51 pm

Story
Meet sweet Juni! Juni had a litter of puppies in April '23 and was a wonderful mama. Her pups are grown, she's been spayed, and she's ready to find her forever home! Juni comes from a bit of a rough start and requires a supportive home that will nurture her. Once she trusts you, she is the most loving, sweet dog you'll ever meet. She is full of husky hugs and kisses, and loves to play! Juni is particular about the dogs she gets along with, so a meet and greet between her and any dogs in an adoptive home would be necessary. She needs a home without cats or other types of animals, and a securely fenced yard. Story
Meet Tikka! Born March 15, 2023, we think she is a shepherd/husky mix. We know she is lively, funny, sweet, and playful. She has beautiful markings! Tikka is a sweet pup- and has a feisty side! She is really aware of her surroundings and sounds off if anything looks suspicious. Tikka takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once she does, she is a loyal companion. She would thrive with a person experienced with addressing behavioral challenges, including anxiety, through continued positive reinforcement training. She will need a securely fenced yard, and a home with no children under 8 years of age. She would do best as an only dog, so no other pets, please. Story
Meet Skippy! Skippy arrived at WAG after being dumped in a crate outside our gate in an act of desperation. He was terrified, but after being given time to adjust, he is able to show us his true personality. Skippy is a husky/boxer mix and was born in December 2021. He has done well with some similarly sized dogs at WAG after proper introductions, but would not do well in a home with cats (due to a husky's high prey drive), or small children (due to his large size and enthusiastic playing style). He has previously lived with children, so may be okay with older kids in the home. Skippy does take a little time to get used to new people. He would not be a good dog to take to a dog park. Skippy does require a fenced yard to keep him from wandering. He would do best as part of an active family that can help him continue to work on his training and socialization. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Story
Meet Ruby! Ruby came to WAG after being rescued from a house fire as a young puppy, and she has grown into a joyful adolescent with plenty of personality. She's playful, curious, and genuinely loves spending time with people. Whether she's learning, playing, or joining you for an adventure, Ruby is eager to participate in all the things! Ruby has lots of fun adolescent energy and would thrive with an engaged family that can provide regular activity, and continued reward-based training. She enjoys learning and responds beautifully when training feels positive and rewarding. Ruby currently shares her space with a canine roommate, so she may be able to live with another well-matched dog following thoughtful introductions. A securely fenced yard would give her a safe place to play and explore, and a home with children age 5 or older would likely be the best fit for her enthusiastic personality. Ruby is already spayed, vaccinated, and ready to begin her next chapter. She cant wait to meet you! Story
I'm Chase, a striking 6-year-old white and grey Husky with mismatched blue and brown eyes that'll steal your heart! I'm neutered, healthy, and absolutely love my walks — I've got plenty of energy and a sharp mind that thrives on activity and companionship, and lots of love and tricks. ⭐I know how to spin, sit, walk in a heel with treats and handshake! Chase must be placed in a dog-only, cat-free home. He is not a candidate for dog parks, off-leash dog areas, or other dog social settings. Chase will thrive with structured exercise, consistent guidance, and a family committed to providing him with plenty of love, attention, and one-on-one adventures. At $150, I'm ready to become your devoted adventure buddy! Come meet me and let's start our story together. 💙

Story
This is Pops! And he's the absolute sweetest. He's 10 years young but don't let that fool you - he's got plenty of energy - he loves to go on long walks in nature, and can keep up with the best of them. Pops used to live with other dogs, however, the shelter says since arriving, he's become dog selective. We plan to dog test him again to see how he gets along. For the time being, we'd like him to either be an only dog, or be paired with an easy going female - that may change though. We'll investigate further. One thing we do know about Pops - he definitely should not live with cats or small animals. He's a master squirrel hunter on walks and will definitely keep your home rodent free on his own. Pops appears housebroken, and loves every person he meets. He's looking for the perfect retirement home where he can spend his days getting snuggles, and going for long walks in nature with his favorite humans. In true husky form, Pops will need a securely fenced yard, and should not be left alone outside unsupervised for any great length of time. He's pretty agile and can scale a fence easily if a squirrel runs by on the other side. He'd prefer a home with a human who is home more than not.
