Story
Meet sweet Juni! Juni had a litter of puppies in April '23 and was a wonderful mama. Her pups are grown, she's been spayed, and she's ready to find her forever home! Juni comes from a bit of a rough start and requires a supportive home that will nurture her. Once she trusts you, she is the most loving, sweet dog you'll ever meet. She is full of husky hugs and kisses, and loves to play! Juni is particular about the dogs she gets along with, so a meet and greet between her and any dogs in an adoptive home would be necessary. She needs a home without cats or other types of animals, and a securely fenced yard. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Story
Meet Sally! She was one of four puppies that came to WAG in 2023 from a hoarding situation. Prior to being at WAG, we suspect she had never been outdoors before, but in her time here, she is learning to trust in people.  Sally is a smart but shy girl that would love to continue her training with you. She has been working on basic commands as well as a few additional tricks. She would do well in a home with children over the age of 8, time to spend with her, and perhaps another dog that could act as a good role model. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Story
Meet Tikka! Born March 15, 2023, we think she is a shepherd/husky mix. We know she is lively, funny, sweet, and playful. She has beautiful markings! Tikka is a sweet pup- and has a feisty side! She is really aware of her surroundings and sounds off if anything looks suspicious. Tikka takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once she does, she is a loyal companion. She would thrive with a person experienced with addressing behavioral challenges, including anxiety, through continued positive reinforcement training. She will need a securely fenced yard, and a home with no children under 8 years of age. She would do best as an only dog, so no other pets, please. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Story
Meet Skippy! Skippy arrived at WAG after being dumped in a crate outside our gate in an act of desperation. He was terrified, but after being given time to adjust, he is able to show us his true personality. Skippy is a husky/boxer mix and was born in December 2021. He has done well with some similarly sized dogs at WAG after proper introductions, but would not do well in a home with cats (due to a husky's high prey drive), or small children (due to his large size and enthusiastic playing style). He has previously lived with children, so may be okay with older kids in the home. Skippy does take a little time to get used to new people. He would not be a good dog to take to a dog park. Skippy does require a fenced yard to keep him from wandering. He would do best as part of an active family that can help him continue to work on his training and socialization. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Story
Meet Red! Red may have escaped the flames of the house fire he experienced as a young puppy, but this Mastiff mix pup prefers to take his time before turning up the heat with new people. Red came to us a bit shy, but he's growing into a fun and confident companion. A toy fanatic and people-pleaser at heart, Red thrives when given the chance to learn and show off his skills. He's the student who always does his homework — patient handlers willing to invest in training will be richly rewarded. Red's ideal home includes a safely fenced yard, owners dedicated to consistent training, and children over age 5. WAG will provide age-appropriate vaccinations for Red, but it will be the responsibility of the adopter to have Red neutered at his vet's recommended age. Story
Meet Ruby! Ruby came to WAG with a bang — rescued from a house fire as a tiny pup, this Mastiff mix brought every bit of that flame with her. Bold, spirited, and full of personality, Ruby is equal parts mischief and love. She'll make you laugh, keep you on your toes, and melt your heart all in the same afternoon. Ruby is ready to grow into an incredible companion — with the right foundation. Her dream home includes a safely fenced yard to burn off energy, patient humans committed to consistent training, and older kids (age 5+) who can match her bold spirit. WAG will provide all age-appropriate vaccinations, but it will be the responsibility of the adopter to have Ruby spayed at the age recommended by her vet. Story
Meet Odesza 🐺❄️ Odesza is a beautiful female Husky mix who was found as a stray and is now ready for a fresh start in a loving home. She appears to be well trained and likely housebroken, making her an easy addition to a family looking for a well-mannered companion. Odesza has the intelligence and presence typical of her Husky heritage and would do well with an adopter who can provide regular exercise, structure, and enrichment. She’s eager to learn, enjoys being engaged, and would love a home where she can be part of daily activities. If you’re looking for a smart, active, and loyal dog to join your life, Odesza could be the perfect match. She’s ready to leave her stray days behind and become someone’s devoted best friend. 🐾💙 Odesza is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on all her vaccines and preventatives!

Story
Our landlord has decided that we can no longer have our dog and we are trying to find him a good home. We have had him for 2 years and he’s 3 1/2 years old. He’s a Shepard/husky mut. He’s been around a lot of kids and other dogs. We have 2 cats but he chases them. He would be happiest in a home with a large yard and other dogs. He can be protective and reactive to dogs walking by our house. He also needs a slow entrance to strangers. But once he gets used to them, he is a lover. A stranger (someone fixing something in our bathroom) entered our house without giving me time to lock the dog up and he jumped on him and bit his hand. If he is introduced to people slowly with “his people” present, he is typically fine. But because of this incident last month, our landlord says we can not keep him. He loves walks and being with his humans. Please can you help us find a loving home for our deer pup?! Thank you so much.
