They combine the Husky’s social, affectionate nature with the Shepherd’s eagerness to please and trainability.They love cuddles and greet you with adorable woo-woos when you come home! Otherwise, they’re quiet, relaxed companions who prefer short walks and cozy downtime.🏡 House-, crate-, dog door-, and fence-trained. They’ve lived with children and may do best with older, respectful kids.🌿 They need a low-impact lifestyle with a good balance of gentle exercise and rest. Tango had hip surgery when younger, but his recent vet visit was very positive, with the vet impressed by his mobility.🐾 They must be adopted together. They’re not compatible with cats or small animals and guard food and toys around other dogs. MEET BASS & TENOR! This happy and loving duo has waited much too long for a home but we can't split them up. They are a loving, fun pair of playful dogs who need a foster or forever home! They are very affectionate toward people, and love, love, love each other. They are likely brothers, who found themselves at a crowded California shelter with no adoption interest. Fortunately they were rescued but still haven't found a home yet. They must be adopted together as they are extremely bonded. Both are almost 8 years old. Bass, the brown-and-white pup, weighs only 55 lbs., and Tenor (tan and white) weighs about 60 lbs. They are fun, active pups who love to run, play and snuggle with each other. They would love to be adopted by someone who could take them on hikes, walks and other outings. They currently play with each other for entertainment but it'd be great for them to branch out and see the world. Bass & Tenor love to jump up and give kisses. They are not super friendly with other dogs, so should be the only dogs in the home - but they have plenty of love to give and will be grateful to whomever adopts them. HI - I'M IVY! I'm a 5-year-old Siberian Husky girl, currently in the Greater Seattle area. I'm a sweet soul, always ready to share my warmth with you. I'm pretty smart too, I've been told. I love exploring, sniffing out new things. I'm also quite independent, content to entertain myself, but I do love humans. Your company will be my favorite pastime. I'm mellow for a husky, and easy to have around. And I'm cuddly. I love a good snuggle! My curiosity keeps life interesting, and my gentleness makes me a great companion. I was rescued from a California shelter, where I had a kennel mate. But I can be a bit of an alpha girl, so my canine companion would need to be pretty special and understanding of my bossy girl ways. I truly am a people dog, and will be your shadow and welcome you home with a smile and a wag. I'm still very active and would love to go on some long walks or hikes. I weigh about 55 lbs. He would do great with someone who loves to go for walks, hikes and other outings. Patch was originally rescued from a California high-kill shelter in the nick of time, and he's currently in a temporary foster home through the end of July. Patch is affectionate and will give kisses once he gets to know you. He loves treats and food in general. He also enjoy human attention and affection, and hanging out! He's very playful as well and loves his toys. Patch has done well with some dogs, though he'd truly thrive as an only with a person or people to love him and be his world. Meet Kitsap! He is a 6-year-old male, neutered Siberian Husky with an incredibly loving heart and big personality. He absolutely LOVES people/children and is affectionate, cuddly, loyal, goofy, and happiest beside his person. He loves kisses, butt scratches, walks, hiking, fetch, and spending time outside, but he is also very much an indoor dog who loves lounging on the couch or sleeping next to his person. He is house trained, knows basic commands, has good recall, is smart and obedient, and does not bolt or run away with open gates or doors. Kitsap must be the only pet in his new home due to severe resource guarding and a history of aggression toward other animals despite years of training and management. His behavior with people is completely different, and he is truly an amazing people dog. He also has asthma that is well controlled with an inhaler. We love him deeply and know he will make an incredible companion for someone who can give him a loving, only-pet home.
