About NolaA beautiful five-year-old husky, Nola, is a friendly, active, and very energetic pup who loves to run and play. We’re not sure what she went through before she arrived at the shelter, but she was underweight when she came in. She has been eating well at the shelter and is beginning to put some weight back on. Nola needs a home with a 6-foot fenced yard and no cats.ConsiderationsNeeds a 6-foot fenced yardNo cats

Story
Five-year-old Arrow is a handsome blue-eyed husky with a brown-and-white coat.  He is reportedly housebroken and is described as friendly, playful, easygoing, gentle, talkative, silly, and energetic.  He has lived with and gotten along with other dogs.  This very nice pup weighs 46 lb.At the shelter, Arrow is a frequent participant in the volunteer field trip program. Over the course of many outings, his primary human companion has grown quite fond of him. Arrow’senthusiasm and curiosity are infectious; it’s a joy to explore the island with him. And whether on trails or city sidewalks, Arrow exhibits impeccable manners. On leash, he is considerate ofhis handler; no pulling. He greets other humans and dogs politely, and he willingly gives them space when asked. Perhaps best of all, Arrow is a wonderfully affectionate companion. He’llgreet you with whole body wags and endless variations of the husky “woo woo”. In the car, your ear is in serious danger of wet licks originating from the back seat. And when theadventure is over, he will give you his look of happy gratitude and nuzzle you for just a few more pets. If you are looking for a loyal, well-behaved companion with whom to share yourhome and explore the world, Arrow is your dog. ConsiderationsNeeds a 6-foot fenced yardNo cats

Story
Wonderful pound puppy was rescued and has been a delight. Unfortunately our three kids sports schedule equals less time for a dog and we don’t want to subject him to life he had before we rescued him.
