Story
My name is Kenai, I am roughly 3-4 years old. I go by other names such has Sir fluffs a lot, fluffers, and buffers. Kenai has been with us for a little over 2 years. We are desperate to find him a new home who can give him the time and energy to him. My child has health issues and this is the reason why I’m searching for an awesome new home for Kenai. He is protective of his people, he enjoys walks and is treat driven. He loves to use his vocal cords and loves to make his presence known. He cannot go to a family in ann apartment, he needs to be with a family who has property or a farm where he can run. Please reach out for serious questions. He’s a great dog, he just deserves so much better than what we can give to him right now.

Story
Meet Elle! She’s a stunning husky/shepherd mix around 8 months old. She weighs about 35 pounds right now, but she’s pretty scrawny, so she’ll probably fill out another 15-20 pounds as she grows and gets regular meals. She’s really friendly, but a little on the cautious side when it comes to new things. She’s really sweet with kids and other dogs. She responds well to confident, gentle yet persistent guidance, so she will do well with training.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Meet Mystery! This 1 year old girl looks like a petite husky. She’s a little scrawny at 34 pounds, but she won’t be more than 45 filled out. She enjoys snuggling up with you, too. Mystery has experienced a life of unknowns and now she’s ready for the love and security of a forever home.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Khaleesi - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey y'all where's all my Game of Thrones fans!! I got my name Khaleesi, from the movie, meaning Queen but the name has also come to mean strong empowered woman. I'm a happy gal that is looking for my kingdom, ruled by treats, belly rubs and having FUN!! At only 10 months I'm still just a youngster ready for all kinds of action packed adventures. If you're looking for a pawtner for neighborhood strolls, I'm in. If you're looking for a hiking pawtner, I'm right there. If you're looking for a camping pawtner, I sure don't mind sleeping on the ground if you don't. If you're game for it, I'm for sure ready to give it a whirl. At my current weight of about 45lbs I shouldn't get a whole lot bigger which is a perfect size for...well, everything! I'm big enough to get out there and get dirty with you but small enough that I won't take up the whole couch. Gotta make sure I leave room for our cuddle time!! I get on great with people and the other foster pups here. I'm also house trained which is a nice added bonus for my family. I will need several brushings a week to help keep the hair at a minimum but even tho the vacuum will be your best friend, my love and devotion will make it all worth while!! When these striking blue eyes look at you, nothing else will matter cuz I will already be tangled up in your heart! Are you ready for that family addition that will keep you entertained with my silly antics? A smile on your face is guaranteed, a whole boatload of having fun just for the sake of having a good time!! I am that gal!! Come on, fill out my adoption application, you know you want to!!!!

Story
Animal Profile: Teddy is an estimated 4-year-old, 57 lb neutered male Husky mix. We tagged him when he was at risk for euthanasia at the overcrowded Tulare shelter after a long 10-month stay there. He was a staff favorite and noted to be very sweet and friendly, great with other dogs, good on leash and good with recall in the shelter environment. We will share more info as we get to know him in foster care.  Foster Update: Teddy is an absolute sweetheart and a beautiful dog! He bonded with me really quickly and loves to snuggle up on the couch. He wants to spend time with his humans and has been really sweet with my wife and visiting elderly parents as well. Teddy has average energy, so is quite easy to handle for the average active family. He goes running with me every morning -- nothing crazy, maybe 2 miles round trip. While initially he didn't know how to walk or run on leash, he figured it out with some training and now runs and walks well beside me. Teddy seems just as comfortable lying around my home office all day as he is getting up and going out for a brisk walk. Teddy is crate trained and potty trained. He can be a bit excited when passing other dogs on the street. We've been working on this, but he still prefers a proper introduction to new dogs. Teddy is interested in cats and wants to chase them so it would be best if there were no cats in the home. He has been on some short hikes and loves meeting new people. His best home will be with a family in a quiet neighborhood or with some extra space to explore. He will make a fabulous addition to an active NW family! Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550 which include. s spay/neuter, core vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, deworming, microchip and registration, and vet exam.  Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Animal History: This dog was found as a stray and rescued from the Tulare Animal Services in California, which is severely overcrowded.  They are arriving in Seattle on Oct. 10, 2023. He will be available for adoption once evaluated in foster care. December 6, 2023, 12:15 am

Story
Animal Profile: Kubo  is an estimated 2-year-old, 55 lb neutered male Husky mix who was at risk for euthanasia due to limited space at Fresno Humane. Kubo was noted to be social and friendly with all people at the shelter, and good with other dogs big and small in playgroups. Shelter staff said he is "very friendly and easy to handle." He was kenneled with puppies!  Seattle Foster Update: Kubo is a sweetheart who just wants love from everybody! He is crate trained, potty trained, and lovely to have around. He loves long walks and does well on leash but does benefit from a confident handler as he is quite strong. Kubo would love an active family who wants to take him on adventures but once inside he is pretty low-key, not vocal, and loves to just relax with his people. Given his size and strength we think he'll do best in a home with older kids or adults. He hasn't been formally tested with cats but has displayed some prey drive and interest outside the house so we believe a home without cats would be best.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: This dog was rescued from Fresno Animal Shelter and arrived in Seattle on Tuesday 6/6/23. He was found as a stray in the Fresno area in April 2023.  December 6, 2023, 12:15 am

Story
My name is Lato, and I'm a 9-month-old male Husky and Jindo mix. My mom was a purebred Husky, so I've got some impressive genes going on. I’m sweet and curious about everything around me but, I might need a bit of practice with walks, due to a lack of experience. I also need to be trained on how to behave in a car. So, please hold my body up during the drive. I’ve got a heart full of love for humans and I get along with other doggies too. Whether it's our first meeting or if you've got other furry friends, I'm always up for a wagging good time. I might be young, but I am calm and have gentle manners. Specially, my eyes are unique! They're my trademark, making me even more charming. I believe you would love me once you see me~ https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3JxL93TdCW4PHm9tnl5yy7qy
