Hello there, my name is Raava! I'm an 11-month-old female Husky/Shepherd mix! I am current on my vaccines, and soon to be heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped.3 words that describe me: Friendly, Energetic, OutgoingThings staff and volunteers have to say about me: I came into the shelter with my brother Vaatu. I have lots of energy and I love meeting new people! If you're an active person I'd make a great companion! Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 8 or 9/10Housetraining Status: I am working on it, a consistent schedule with lots of praise will help me learn!I should do well in a home: I should do well with children of all ages given proper supervision. I previously lived with another dog, so I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats. My favorite activities are: Running around, jumping, playing with squeaky toys, and getting love from humans! Things I need work on are: Basic commands, housetraining, and walking on leash. Any special needs: N/ADoggy day out notes: "She was super sweet on the car ride to the park. She cuddled with me by putting her head, with cone, on the armrest and I put my arm around her and she leaned into it like a hug. She is one of the most sweet and gentle spirits I've met. Little sounds in the woods around us drew her attention and made her nervous at first. She doesnt seem to know that when the wind blows, leaves, nuts, and small branches fall down in the forest. All the natural sounds were fascinating to her. We spent about 1/3 of the time just sitting on logs letting her listen to things. She is very expressive and let me know when it was time to walk again. She was so confident jumping over the logs. She really enjoyed the jumping. She also seem to want to make sure I would be attentive to her. She is so sweet! On the way home she pouted when she realized we were leaving the park. She was so cuddly on the way to the park. But on the way home, she sat as far away as possible with her back to me. Im glad she relaxed on the way back. But when she did look at me, it was the typical Husky pout. Poor thing. I love her so much, she is so easy to fall in love with. Super gentle soul and very ready to love someone. I am currently heartworm positive, so I am a foster-to-adopt candidate while that is being treated. Heartworm treatment can take around 6 months to complete. Meet Kazoo! Kazoo is approximately 11 months old and is thought to be a Husky/Shepherd-type mix. Kazoo is a very sweet and special boy who will be looking for an owner just as special. He came in with his sister, and would absolutely prefer a home with a kind dog. The shelter environment can get a bit scary for him with all of the noise, hustle and bustle, so his new family should be patient and understanding if he seems overwhelmed. He's a very sensitive boy and seems to be most comfortable when another dog is around who can help break him out of his shell. Once he feels comfortable, Kazoo is incredibly affectionate! He will gravitate to you for kisses and pets, and will pile up all of his toys. For a young dog, Kazoo is actually a pretty chill boy outside of his play time, and would probably thrive in a situation where the household is calm and peaceful, but his owners can get him out for daily walks, hiking, sniffies, back yard play, etc. We're not sure what Kazoo's life was like prior to being found, so we're unsure of any prior training. Kazoo may need guidance on things like commands, potty routines, and walking on leash, but he's incredibly smart and wants to please, so this should be no trouble at all with the right family. He will likely benefit from having a crate or a room that he can use as his calm/relax spot any time he needs it. So far, he's incredibly quiet and may even make a good apartment pup! Kazoo should do well around children with proper supervision, but because he can get easily spooked, he may prefer the company of older children who can be respectful of his emotions.Kazoo may be a big baby simply overwhelmed by the shelter environment, but we know he's going to be the BEST boy for almost any loving and patient family! Maya is 5 years old (will be 46 in November) and came in with Mocha. They can be adopted together or separately.Maya is a Siberian Husky weighing in at 63 lbs. Maya was surrendered when her family fell on hard times, but before that she actually attended doggy daycare and did well with other dogs. She is also good with cats, children, and is housebroken. Like most arctic breeds, Maya loves to be outside and would love a fenced in yard or an owner who is active outdoors during all weather! She is talkative and adventurous, and although she'll need some patience while she adjusts to all of the new information after being rehomed, we think she'll settle well into almost any family! Very friendly 4 year old male. Loves people. Loves to play. He is electronic collar trained and is very polite except when some one new comes to the door. Then he jumps on the them to greet them. Just because he is excited to see someone different. He weights about 60 lbs. Very healthy, does eat dry dog food, but prefers to be treated with “last bites” of people food. He does get a treat when coming in from outside. He has been living with G & G, because of a job change of our son. OTR truck driving does not accommodate owning a dog. Nex Gard is the flea and tick control we use. Seems to be very successful. He did have an allergic reaction when trying the other form of flea and tick. At our home, because of our age and health issues, he is inside most time but would love being in a fenced area outside. He sleeps inside on bed or couch. He isn’t use to a kennel but would train easily for that. Everything we have purchased for him will come with him. Leash, collar, ect.

She’s currently in a home with 6 other dogs from Chihuahua to Great Pyrenees and 5 cats without having an issue with any of them. She hasn’t had any accidents in the house. All around I think she’s a great dog and I enjoy having her around so I know someone else will too. S
