Meet Todd – The Wiggly Boy Who Will Give You His Whole Heart
Todd is sweet, silly, playful, and just a little shy when he's figuring out someone new.
Give him a little time, patience, and consistency, though, and you'll quickly discover the affectionate, adventurous dog underneath. Todd bonds with his family quickly, loves other dogs, and genuinely seems to want to be the very best boy he can be.
And when he's happy to see you, Todd doesn't just wag his tail.
He wiggles his entire body.

He's an athletic, adventurous guy with medium energy, so he's ready to get outside and have some fun—but he doesn't need to be moving every second of the day.
A Little Patience Goes a Long Way
Todd can be shy at first and nervous in unfamiliar situations, but he warms up quickly.
His confidence is already improving with exposure, and his foster has seen just how quickly Todd can bond once he realizes he's safe.
Todd doesn't need someone to rush him. He needs someone willing to give him a little time, consistency, and encouragement while he continues discovering that new people, places, and experiences can be good things.

Some dogs wag their tails when they're excited.
Todd apparently decided that wasn't enough.
When he's happy to see someone, his entire body gets involved.
That silly, wiggly greeting has become one of the things that makes Todd so endearing. Once this initially shy boy knows you, there's no question about how happy he is that you're there.

Todd's foster is happy to meet approved adopters.
Todd was found living on the streets of El Paso, Texas, and was taken to the shelter. From there, he got his chance to leave shelter life behind and begin the next chapter of his story.
Some of those early experiences may help explain why Todd needs a moment to take things in when something is unfamiliar. But what his foster is seeing now is a dog who is learning, gaining confidence, and forming strong bonds with the people around him.
Todd is very sweet and truly wants to be a good boy. Give him a little patience while he figures things out, and you'll get to watch that shy exterior give way to the goofy, playful, wiggly dog underneath.
And once Todd decides you're his person, his foster says he'll give you the world.
